I think it just got legal last year in IND and on JAN 1 in IL along with mary jane. Things are really looking up around here. All the money is going to go to education just like what happened with the lottery so I’m mostly excited for the kids. Who knew that gambling and drugs would end up being helping our children’s future? Plus with global warming, you can bet the NFL playoffs and it’s 55 outside. Great time to be alive.

Thanks and it ain’t 55 degrees where I’m at – that’s ok as I’m headed to Mexico next week for almost 3 weeks – I’m home this weekend for the WildCards then gone and I’ll be watching the Divisional Playoffs and the Conference Championships from the beach.

I have a quick 12 hour overnight stay near ORD on my way home; I’ll have to check if there is anything nearby to lay a wager on the Super Bowl

Yo whats going on squid. No im still here. our fd league actually continues into the playoffs. so we still have another week! just trying to figure out who to play. also, i am pissed like actually so angry we have seahawks. we are losing this weekend and there are no questions about it. russell wilson will tear up our secondary. and they are just the better team regardless of how they have looked the past few weeks. i wanted the niners so badly because i knew we had a shot against them. the coaching of seattle and experience and wilson scare me. we never beat them. home or away. but other than that, is everyone playing 4 wrs this week instead of 3 rbs for cash games?

The Niners would have curb-stomped you; be happy that you got the wounded Seahawks – you have a good chance to win…..then get stomped by the Niners the following week

Its just not about Brady. Its the team itself- Like I said earlier- Last years team had a great run game scheme to lean on. Took pressure off Brady- Last year they had the BYE. They haven’t had to play in the wild card round in over 10 years. Does this team have experience over TN ? of course..
Has BB faced Tanneyhill 10-11 times before? yep- There is no magic fairy dust going to be sprinkled on this team to make all the wrongs into rights. I could be wrong and they could prove me wrong but I don’t have that feeling that something magical is going to happen because it’s the playoffs.. I think they survive this week and move on 24-20 or something like that. But I wont be surprised if TN comes out of Gillette with a victory.

Ive always been critical of this team when this aren’t right- I am def NOT the type to say “oh you know they will turn it on in the playoffs. etc. etc..

    @BIF-

Deebo said before that they would beat SF- and SF only – no problem-

The bad thing is I am really hating the trend of offshore gaming. They charge to deposit, place a bet and to withdraw.

Hmmm, I’ve never paid to deposit or withdraw offshore – of course there is juice on losing bets

I have only played on Bovada who charges insane rates (10% with credit cards) to deposit and withdrawing you it is technically free if you go the bit coin route but in order to convert that to US dollars there is fees every step of the way. It ends up getting expensive to play there so I pulled out and am waiting for my state to be legal before getting back into the sports betting business.

  • yisman

Yes every book has deposit/withdraw fees.

the advantage of bitcoin is that there’s no fees to the book itself, but you have to pay fees multiple times anyway.

Buying or selling bitcoin on coinbase/gemini is flat 1.5% each way, so that’s already getting to be costly to put money in, place some bets, and take it out.

Then every time bitcoin is sent/received, the bitcoin miners take a fee as well. So you’re basically paying two fees to deposit and two fees to wtihdraw.

I couldn’t get bitcoin in time (gemini has a one week hold from when you deposit to when you can take out the bitcoin), so I had to use a CC recently to betonline. They charged me 16%…

Phily usually struggles on the outside a lot more than the inside. I’ve been a little more hesitant on DEEBO/Metcalf than I should have been this year. Uusally, young WR’s don’t do the type of things that a bunch of them did this year so there must be credence to how these guys are getting to the NFL more ready than ever before. Matchups would say Metcalf, he’s the prototype for what Philly struggles with.

Thanks for the insight. I draft season long tonight for a roster for this weekends games.

I agree with Bif. I’m in PA, about 50 miles northwest of Philly. I’m not an Eagles fan, (The Raiders have been my team since the “Immaculate Deception” days. I think Monarch is a Raiders fan as well?). Anyway, most Eagles fans around here are pretty worried about the game, except for the hard core Eagles Homers. The local newspaper today was calling them the “New Rocky Balboa” for the Philadelphia area to root for! Maybe, weirder things have happened?? But I don’t see it IMHO
I also agree about them getting curb stomped by the Niners if they manage to win this week.

I have to agree with you. I’m not a Pats fan but had Brady and NE Def in season long, so I’ve watched them closely the past 2 seasons. Somethings wrong with the overall team the past 8 weeks or so. The Def produced some amazing fantasy points early in the season, but have been nothing but meh recently. I’m not looking at Pats players this weekend. I also agree they will probably win this weekend but not by much and won’t produce much fantasy value.

Okay it was a bad loss lol but I stand behind my assessment the pats turn it around for this game. They have to be motivated after a loss like that and are still equipped on the defensive side to shut out a suspect titans team.

Oh ye of little faith. It woulda been hard enough for Carson/Penny to smash vs your D. Not sure about Homer/UsedToBeBeastMode. And Russ really hasn’t had a RussCarriesTheTeam kinda game in a while. In his last 7 he’s avg 15.5 DKpts. over the same stretch Brady is avg 15.1. Yet all the noise about “under-performing QBs is about Brady. I think Philly is better suited to control the clock with their run game than Seattle is and in throwing situations, Wentz should have a much cleaner pocket to throw from than Wilson. Have some faith Kid, with any luck, Carroll won’t realize Philly can’t be run on at home until the game is over.

I think it is a mistake to not look at any. Edelman should get peppered with targets. Michel could get multiple tds. Not saying both will happen together but it could and one should happen

THere’s a small casino right by O’Hare. I’ve never been there myself so I don’t know what they offer but you can check for yourself.

Hey Bif, bet 365 is my home and from Canada also. Only
Thing is most Canadian credit cards won’t let you deposit. Luckily I have only deposited once but I had to use a prepaid card to do it. Also I recommend using there online chat while setting up it speeds
    The process.

It’s only an issue for US. Obviously for countries where gambling is legal, people don’t have those problems.

One thing I’m thinking about is Cloney will be healthy this game. He came back against the 49ers but 1st game back etc. He makes a big difference on that Seattle defense. I think this will be the first time they are healthy in weeks and the eagles offensive line is banged up as well.
