Buffalo and Tampa should be bigger favorites imo

And that SEattle line has to be influenced by Goff. McVay said he’s not sure if he’ll play, but I think if he does play, then the line changes to SEA -1

  • bazerko

Bet 365 has Bills -7, Seahawks -4.5, and Tampa Bay -8

  • bazerko

I fully expect Tampa to win, but I’m curious how they handle Washington’s ferocious defensive line

Gronk will stay in and block mostly so I’d avoid him – this is what he did vs Rams when they played. Brate is the sneaky TE play here I think if they play it like they did vs Rams.

Also RoJo will also stay in the backfield a fair to pick up anyone blitzing so his catch numbers may suffer a bit – I can see Shady being on the field a bit in 3rd down and 2nd/Long blitz pick up situations as well then sneaking out catching screens.

  • bazerko

It sounds like the Tampa passing game is what you’ll want. Also, buffalo and Seattle defenses are too cheap on FD. Rivers could have his classic interception turnover game. Wolford, if he starts could have a rough day.

I may be crazy but I’m thinking that the Rams might be just as well better off playing Wolford than a nicked/Goff this Saturday – in the 2 regular season games vs Seattle, a healthy Goff never threw a TD (but did have 1 INT and 1 Lost Fumble) and only put up 32 points total on offense (this equates to just 14.7 and 10.5 DK fantasy points).

Seattle has given up a lot of points to teams with running QBs (and QBs that have mobility) including Cam, Dak, Kyler and Josh.

For the Rams, this game most likely relies on their defense anyways – they already put up huge stats in the 2 games against Russ/Seattle totalling 11-2-1 (Sacks-INT-Fumbles).

Wolford’s mobility might just extend a couple drives with his legs or else give a WR/TE a chance to get open where Seattle’s improved pass rush might just collapse in on Goff’s pocket passer tendency.

Wolford wasn’t great yesterday but he also wasn’t terrible – after a first possession pick, he didn’t throw any others and finished 22/38 for 234 yds. He was only sacked twice. He did run for 56 yards on just 6 carries – there would be at least that many chances to run against a softer Seattle defense that even gave 5-42 on the ground to Wentz.

That’s my 2 cents….but those of you in the “Goff is elite” or “Goff is a Top 10 QB” category may see things differently 😂

Seattle is the cheapest one. Its a little puzzling. I’m guessing they are figuring on Goff playing. But then Seattle also went from near the bottom in sacks early in the year to near the top at the end. Could this be because a couple guys went out in their last game?

It’s like Groundhog Day every Monday Morning. Making a post for games a week away and speculation on those games based on faulty information that will change everything by the time the games kick off. It’s really incredible.

  • Skee

Its an NFL section of the forum. The other sports have their own sections.

seriously no one is posting their thoughts on Monday and then sticking to them with zero adjustments

  • Jokey401

I’m on fire this AM, just got all 60 of my lu’s done for the Saturday slate and should have Sundays complete by lunch. This early week research and decision making really cuts down on having to figure it all out on Saturday. Good luck this weekend!

It’s like Groundhog Day every Monday Morning. Some guy comes into the forum EVERY Monday and posts about how posting in an NFL forum on Monday Morning is dumb.

Your last 5 or so posts are essentially saying the same thing. We get it, you don’t feel the need to think or talk about NFL until Sunday morning. That’s totally fine and you have every right.

99 out of 100 times their lineups will not be the same come Sunday, but they may just enjoy coming to a forum and talking about it?

There’s nothing more important than the process in DFS. RG should be trying to help improve the process for players. By making this thread every Monday you’re promoting making decisions based on information that is erroneous and not complete. There’s no reason to be looking at the slate until 24 hours before maximum…other than boredom of course. Players can get better by using some of these strategies. In my opinion, making this thread is a disservice to players.

It’s a public forum for anyone to discuss NFL….. This is possibly the worst post I have seen in all my years here.

You don’t have to participate in this thread during the week if you do not want to, but for those that do its here. It’s ok to talk about the weeks games and that doesn’t mean strategies are being locked in on Monday morning. Lighten up, people just want to talk about sports with others. It’s the point of this forum.

  • Jokey401

I for one, am having my best year in NFL DFS ever. 4 years in. Not all but certainly some of that success has to do with this Forum, including the Monday morning spitballing that takes place. Lighten up Francis….

Does dk really not have an all weekend slate for the 6 playoff games?!

And am I correct that the only single entry on each slate is $100?

    What in the world

Agree. There is much to dislike about all that.

Same for FD. I submitted a ticket asking if we can get Saturday-Sunday slates the next two weeks.

DK has a help forum thread on here. I’ll go ask them for a 6-game slate. I don’t know if we can overcome their algorithms (which are what they use to figure out how t maximize their contest entry fee totals.) But it can’t hurt to share our opinions.

Nobody is making decisions on Monday. How is that so hard for you to comprehend? I could see saying you shouldn’t build lineups before 24 hours but to say not to even look at the slate is ridiculous. And even that, not all of us use optos and lineup builders so to go thru and see what fits takes a little time. Plus, you know, go pound sand
