It’s time people start looking at the mistakes the Chiefs are making and put away the conspiracy theories – if you interfere someone in the end zone right in front of the official – it’s a fuk’n penalty and the WR is 6’6” with a 12 foot catch range so where the ball gets thrown matters little if you cut off his route to the throw

he bumped him buts thats never called, especially when you throw it in the stands.

That poor call aside though thats not why they are losing. The chiefs are beating themselves in all three phases which i said before the game is the only way the bucs have a chance…mahomes passes off, drops, special teams lining up offside..dumb defensive penalities

The refs have no doubt helped out the Bucs. That’s really not up for debate. However, the Bucs D has smothered KC offense. They refs have had little effect on that. KC made costly drops, penalties, not stuffing the Bucs run game, look rattled, and being out coached big time. KC will need to excite flawlessly to win this game. The goat isn’t going down easily.

I have never seen KC play so bad.
I know I’ll win my Tampa Bay bets, but I hope KC considers playing football in the 2nd half.

I don’t see anything wrong with time outs. Being aggressive is what got Andy Reid here. Giving defense some time to catch a breath to stop first down and get ball back. He was likely looking for getting some momentum for his team.

Ofcourse, TB went on to score instead of a field goal and it didn’t turn out Andy’s way but you gotta take risk.

I understand the thought process. In real time I thought it was a mistake especially on 3rd and 2 from the 40 yard line. Add in the Brady factor and the Chiefs offense couldn’t score. Best scenario was having the ball at their 15 with 30 secs to go and no time outs? The probability was by far better the Bucs would score vs the Chiefs. Thus, terrible time out by Reid. Going into halftime 14 -6 down and getting the ball back to start the 2nd half wasn’t a terribly position for the Chiefs.

It would be fine if it was called both ways… it’s not. TB has gotten carried by officials since the Vikings game

My take on this would be if you call the game in Green Bay so loose then let the guys play. That long PI call was incidental. Feet got tangled up. Too many penalties. KC needs to wake up.

White and the bucs D are playing lights out. That guy is covering a lot of ground and it makes a big difference.

I think Hardeman gets loose in 2nd half. He almost got loose already just couldn’t connect.

Agree. The Chiefs almost look like the moment is too big for them. They look unfocused, rattled, and unprepared. In my mind, they are the better team. They will have to be laser focused to win this game. I expect a Chiefs run and the game ending up very close. I feel like the Bucs will hold on and win. Brady is just too good in these situations. (Thats exactly why Reid should have never taken those time outs.)

This game isn’t over yet, fellas. KC will make a run. They’ll need a TO though to close the gap because TB will not stop scoring.

Too much officiating IMO. Officials are playing a role but the real impact is the smothering Bucs D.

This game should have been really good but it’s just officials calling 8 penalties (7 for a first down) on one team and 1 penalty on the other team. Really takes away any enjoyment.

I get the point you are making but your numbers are off

1 penalty was on the KC punt just backing them up 10 not a first down

1 penalty was on second Gronk TD – declined and not a First Down

1 penalty was on Matthieu after a Bucs TD – not a First Down

DK has already paid me out for Mahomes over 23.5 yds rushing, I guess they don’t anticipate any kneel downs. KC arriving in Tampa on Saturday, and Andy Reid knowing his son was in an accident that put a 5 yr. old girl in critical condition seems to be weighing on his mind, and this team is really lethargic. I’d like to see K.C. make this a contest, but am more concerned with Evans and Godwin finding the end zone.

This Mathieu guy seems like as much of a bitch now as he was at LSU. I’ve only watched one NFL game a year ever since all the politics started (4 years or so).
