If Squid’s aunt still had her balls, she’d still be his uncle.

The NFL is a matchup league – you just prepare for whoever you face and Bucs were better prepared – You don’t get to pick who is on your schedule, you just get ready to play who is next on your schedule.

There were a lot of plays where 3-4 Bucs were chasing Mahomes so I’m not sure how much help or difference that 1-2 OL upgrades would make.

Like i said..oline never gets enough importance placed on it..both tackles healthy is literally 180 degree difference. Guys getting beat forces others to help which opens up their guy…domino effect. Has nothing to do with being prepared or not..chiefs backup lineman are vastly inferior to bucs dline..doesnt matter how much you prepare or scheme..superior talent will win out in the trenches and thus win the game…we’ve seen it over and over in the superbowl…seahawks, broncos, giants,tb on both occasions. Does that mean KC would have won if their tackles were healthy, nope, sure doesn’t, but they aren’t going to get beat on 63% of dropbacks or whatever it ended up being. Ive always like Brady though and like witnessing history so that was kinda cool at least, too bad it was such a shite game though.

Congrats to everyone that binked some stuff!!

At some point you just have to give credit where it’s due – Bucs were better prepared and executed a near flawless defensive game plan.

Wonder if Tommy B called in a favor to His old coach Billy B to help the Bucs game plan for this game…wouldn’t it be something if Billy B ends up coaching in TB next year or two lol

It’s unfortunately true. Brady put up points because of a rigged system. Never thought the nfl would go full mlb

tardif, schwartz, fisher, osemele, and niang all starting KC o linemen that were out. tardif and niang opted out osemele tore tendons in both his knees at start of season, schwartz been out since week 6 and fisher tore achillies against bills

I get it but the Chiefs still went 16-1 in meaningful games before tonight including a win over the Bucs in Week 12 so suddenly the OL took a fall off a cliff just because Fisher was out ?

At some point people gotta give Todd Bowles and the Bucs D credit or else Fisher is the real GOAT of the NFL because his 16-1 (ignoring the Week 17 game they didn’t care about) Chiefs suddenly became the Detroit Lions without him.

Fisher being in made a huge difference when his back up got wrecked by von Miller a few years back and made the vikings o line trash eric fisher was the number 1 overall pick.

Plus in week 12 vita vea didn’t play so it was not as obvious but you could see o line had problems all year… just didn’t know the backups were this bad

  • bcandrws

120 yards in penalty yards don’t help either. In reality kc actually outgained the bucs in yardage 350 for KC to 340 TB 1st downs were 22 KC to 26 TB 3rd down conversions were 3 for 13 KC to 4-12 for TB

You do have to hand it to Bowles’ game plan and the Buc’s execution. We’ve never seen Mahomes running for his life like that and the coverage was perfect, also, the Chiefs got frustrated and played undisciplined football. I was surprised they didn’t do more pre-snap motion and jet sweeps/reverses, bubble screens, etc. seems like they got rattled and went vanilla. Tampa Bay’s pressure and coverage was dominant… 29 QB pressures! The Bucs had a great plan and played a great game on both sides. I’m happy to see TB12 still doing it at an elite level at 43, it’s amazing that he could keep this up for years to come at this rate.

Congrats to anyone that won some money and to BIF and any other Bucs fans. What a great game by Bowles and their defense. They should’ve gotten the MVP but we know that never happens. Instead it goes to the Jared Goff like 201 yd passing performance by Brady. HAHA!

The Chiefs also didn’t make any tough or contested catches. They just got outplayed.

    Brady GOAT

The defense held Mahomes to 9 points and people like you want to give the win to Brady.

Alex Smith and a lot of other QBs could have won a SB with TB if they are afforded the privilege of a stacked deck, NEVER getting hit and favorable field position every drive.

Yeah, think Flacco or Eli at 43 playing like TB12. You have a total grasp on football/reality

That was the nuts I believe.

I know it was. I was hoping it wasn’t and I missed a play and I did the torture of checking the 25k up top contest in the hopes it wasn’t optimal or at the very least was a multi way chop. And there wasn’t a chop unfortunately. I can’t believe that wasn’t duped considering game script and situation. Edge was strong tonight for the in game SDs and I didn’t jump on it as much as I should have.

Nice. My best in those was 128.39. I did chop 1st in the mini-max though

Sup gator. Nice. Not only hitting them on the hardwood but over here too. Nicely done. I did 250 LUs spread across all the big ones and I couldn’t beat you in any of them lol. I have been betting against Brady and Lenny all year and wasn’t stopping. Especially Lenny. I play so many SDs and I was all on Lenny middle of the year a few times (Giants game stands out) as pivots off of RoJo and it cost me so much then I just can’t remove how pitiful he was during the middle of the season. Slow/stone hands/ no vision. Then all of a sudden he is like a new RB and I refused to accept it lol. Not to mention RoJo has burst and has been better. I think Brady rubbed off on Lenny and made him work harder and focus more. Only logical explanation I can come up with for this 2 month transformation. Glad I had the 4th Q hit or it would have been one of my worst nights ever.

Yeah I saw your post. Winning is rough lol. But I know what you mean. If I miss the main contests I dont like playing the smaller contests either. I played some Rojo also at that price but just seemed like they would keep riding the hot hand in Lenny. Who knows though, maybe if Rojo doesn’t get stuffed 3 times at the goal line on that earlier drive they end up giving him more carries.

You nailed it. Once RoJo got stuffed I knew it was over for him. Arians is a weird coach, not very good imo. This was the all washed bowl-Gronk/AB/Lenny and even Brady to some extent. If you were to watch multiple games at certain points this year like the Giants and NO games it’s hard to remove just how bad these dudes looked. I was the biggest AB dude around. Even held onto him in my dynasty league for two years. Was my most rostered player ever in DFS. I tried to make him work so many games and just looked slow and not the same. Gronk (albeit blocking is likely his most important asset now) has looked like he is running in mud with slow motion routes. Lenny had some games I couldn’t believe a NFL RB was capable of. He literally was like a new player these last six weeks and I just couldn’t but into it. That D and Oline was able to mask these deficiencies and the all washed superstars were able to put it together for a solid 4-5 games in a row. Props to them. I’ve done very well on SD with the Bucs all year, and what happened tonight was an extreme outlier aided by the penalties to get the drives extended and the awesome defensive game plan by Bowles. Congrats Bif and the Bucs fans. DFS aside Devin White might be my new favorite player. Just an absolute beast in every defensive facet of the game.

I couldn’t help watching the game as a Bills fan and thinking Mahomes looked like Allen a couple of weeks ago.

    Favorable field position?

Tampa went 70+ yards on 3 of their 4 TD drives.
