Congrats Bif and the Bucs fans. DFS aside Devin White might be my new favorite player. Just an absolute beast in every defensive facet of the game.

Thanks bud and yes Devin White is always around the football reminds me of how Derrick Brooks played for 14 seasons as a Buccaneer

    CHAMPA BAY !!!

BIF, if you get a chance, look at the highlights side by side of White’s int against Brees and Brooks’ Super Bowl int. The similarities are stiking.

The people saying Brady only threw for 200 yards… He didn’t have to throw for more yards, lol. If he needed to throw-for 400 yards, he would have. I just can’t take the stupidity of the interweb sometimes.

yep lots of dumb folks out there

brady just went through brees (although a shell of himself) Arod and them Mahomes to get his win

brady the gm also did a great job-no a brown gronk or fournette without tom

I think Brady set a SB record for efficiency in the first half, right? I’m the first to admit I had him pegged as a plug and play part of the Belichik system, where anyone would find success, and while partially true, him leading TB to the SB win cemented his legacy as the GOAT. He can get up on stage and sing “My Way” now as the greatest ever.

I find it somewhat funny that all the TD’s were scored by guys who were not on the team last year, too bad that guys like Godwin, Brate, Jones and Evans were kept out of the end zone. Another thing I find amusing was watching Daily Wager and all three of the prognosticators (Joe, Anita, and some other guy) were solidly on K.C., I was seriously wondering if they were working on behalf of the Las Vegas books.

Agreed, the GM has done a great job both drafting and effective use of FA signings.

$28+M in cap space for next season which is 7th most in NFL; less than $1M of dead money plus almost three-quarters of the starters are under contract for next season – once we lock up Shaq, Lavonte and 1-2 others the “Run It Back” talk will start up.

Bucs should be a big favorite in their division next year as New Orleans is dead last in league with $74M over cap (though Brees restructuring and retiring will save them a little) so they are going to need to shed some fat veteran salaries on the defense.

Outside the division, the Bucs play AFC East, NFC East plus Chicago and the Rams. They’ll likely have an 11.5 Win total assuming NO, Caro or ATL don’t somehow magically trade for Watson and with only the Bills, Rams and maybe a healthy Cowboys team as tough games on schedule, they have to be the preseason favorite for the #1 seed in NFC.

Oh yah I know – he gets in the throwing lane and undercuts routes at least 5 times a game – he was a fraction of a second late on a sideline pass in the 1st Half last night as well that could have been a pick 6

Same here. Sometime I would just like to hear someone say, “He’s the best ever and we couldn’t beat him.” No excuses, no nothing, just a tip of the cap and move on.

    According to William Hill

    Chiefs 11-2
    Green Bay 9-1
    TB 9-1
    Balt. 12-1
    Buffalo 12-1
    Rams 13-1

Really, some of the tools on this forum are hilarious, imagine putting Eli and Flacco in the same sentence as the GOAT. Much less the conspiracy theorists. Guess it was the refs fault 2 TD passes clanked off KC facemasks too. I had a very nice day, turned $240 into $3,600. I guess I should thank the NFL/refs for the big fix lol.

Edit;Took 2nd in your contest thank you buddy for running it. See you all next season

My Son lives close to Tampa, told me everytime they scored the neighbors fired off a cannon. I wonder if there’s gonna be a parade?

Shocked that GB would be same as TB given they are $28M over cap but I guess they have an pretty easy path to win their division which gets you a home game in the elimination tournament called the Playoffs.

I sure hope so. I will put on my mask and head out to that for sure. The last one was pretty awesome, my first year in town. Your son must live near me. That cannon was going off a lot last night and it was loud.

  • HoodsFromTheWood

Lol I hope so too. Hoping The Mish brings my Grandkids. I went to parade in ’94 when the NYR won the Stanley Cup and ’86 when the NYM won the World Series. Like you said, pretty awesome

Yup – shows I’ve completed it but they have not paid out the 2500 Crowns.

Even worse on the Sunday Night Sweat where they have not even given me credit for playing yesterday’s Showdown and that would be another 5K Crowns

    Saw this on Twitter:

Mike Evans has told the Bucs to “use some of his money” if needed to keep the team together. He’s quietly one of the most unselfish superstars in the NFL.

Tom Brady gets to a team and all of a sudden retired players and castoffs line up to play with him and then he gets players to take paycuts to stay with him. Tom is legendary in so many ways.

The players then realize that winning Super Bowls brings Corporate America knocking (because corporations love winners) and these players make more in endorsements that they lost on their voluntary pay-haircut.

Did anyone see that meme about the streaker?

Says the dude that went on the field bet $50k at +750 that there would be a streaker.

Not true, right? Like you can’t bet on something and then have a direct influence on the outcome. Or could it be true, and now he won’t get paid?
