This is a good thing. A winning culture is addictive, a good addiction

As long as the majority buys in, from the players, coaches, GM to the owner. all have to be on board.

Did anyone see that meme about the streaker?

Says the dude that went on the field bet $50k at +750 that there would be a streaker.

Not true, right? Like you can’t bet on something and then have a direct influence on the outcome. Or could it be true, and now he won’t get paid?

I didn’t see the part about him betting on it but he would have had to lay his money at multiple books as usually special props like typically that have small limits like $500 – I could be wrong but because this one can be directly influenced, the bet limit would/should be reduced.

He would have gotten paid right after the game as books settle well before any news of his betting (or name) is released but he still better get someone to WD the funds ASAP before a story like this gets out.

    —-
Edit – not that he couldn’t have also bet on himself but it has come out that it was a publicity stunt for some Vitaly porn site promotion and the guy was paid to do it.

    Saw this on Twitter:

Mike Evans has told the Bucs to “use some of his money” if needed to keep the team together. He’s quietly one of the most unselfish superstars in the NFL.

Tom Brady gets to a team and all of a sudden retired players and castoffs line up to play with him and then he gets players to take paycuts to stay with him. Tom is legendary in so many ways.

The players then realize that winning Super Bowls brings Corporate America knocking (because corporations love winners) and these players make more in endorsements that they lost on their voluntary pay-haircut.

Squid…..it’s happening in Tampa – the Patriot Way!

somebody tell that to Danny Amendola!! lol

It’s good to be Lesean “Shady” McCoy who gets himself another ring; he just won back to back Super Bowls and never played a single down in either game !

Think Brady and Gronk love the boat parade. 80 degrees here in Tampa today. Has to be better than a February celebration in Mass.

I think it was the last one (so many, it’s tough to remember) was about 65 degrees. They seemed to enjoy themselves each time.

I heard on the radio Brady got pretty smashed on the boat, apparently he was stumbling all over when he got off of it…Lol

At a certain age the liver doesn’t metabolize vodka+redbull like it used to. Gronk will learn that soon too. :P

People seem to forget Gronk is only 31 and was out of football the previous year.

He has been quoted a few times about great he felt this year – once he played through an early season right shoulder injury he has been as healthy as he has been in his entire pro career.

He also did a ton of pass blocking this year which is pretty low stress on the body with minimal head/shoulder collisions (compared to run blocking) assuming you don’t tear an arm/shoulder muscle trying to stop an edge speed rush. He also was not over-used in the passing game nor was he blown up on any hits so let the guy enjoy a few pops.

He’ll be back as long as Brady is there so we should get to see him at least 1 and maybe 2 more years.

Yah funny video on Twitter of him being helped off the boat onto shore.

Also in another video he tossed the Vince Lombardi Trophy from his boat to another into Cam Brate’s hands and in the background you can hear Brady’s son saying “no Dad…” 😂
