Got some people out there. Says it’s all patriot people. 7 to 1 ratio. They have been to a few saying this is most they outnumbered a team by far. Late arriving LA peeps? Maybe?

Again. Don’t think this means much anyway. But heard someone say earlier it would be a pro LA crowd. That’s not gonna be the case

LA peeps are always fashionably late. Either way, I don’t see crowd noise being an issue for either team.

Yeah, I don’t think crowd noise will be an issue. Look at LAC and LAR home games, they don’t have a home field advantage at home, definitely not in the Super Bowl.

Gronk will have a huge game. Great matchup for him

The Patriots have 35 players on that team who have played in a SB, and 27 of them have won a SB. The Rams have 4, and I believe Talib is the only one of the four who has won a SB. Knowing that Brady is going to be 42, and knowing that the underdog schtick is giving the Pats real energy, I’d be shocked if the Rams can keep it within three points. What does surprise me is the line has dropped a point, and is money coming in on the under? This game should break 60, liking my over bet, but should have waited and watched the line.

Romo said the final will be 28-24.

    So that’s pretty much settled.

I’ll do ya one better: Peter King correctly predicted a Rams/Pats SB at the start and his most recent score was 37-31, I think he called it NE, i remember him saying he changed the winner from his initial prediction.

There have been some, I don’t remember specifically off the top of my head but you get guys cheap in the beginning like Howard and CJ Anderson before they go off. I took D.Harris in one of my Chiefs games and he went off with 2 td’s for $200 on DK wasn’t even my Capt but I finished with a 1st and 2nd place.. The secret to winning showdown is just being lucky. Or else have enough money to play hundreds of lineups.

Ahhh was in response to this:
“Patterson? i dont think there has been one winning showdown lineup with a captain that cheap this entire season. might as well burn your money”

I always forget to quote on these forums.

Cowherd picked Pats 34-28.I only mention it because he was hot the whole playoffs I think he was 9-1.He did say if he knew Gurley was 100% he would take Rams.I just think if Rams pressure Brady and Gurley isn’t hurting they could win.If not then Cowherds score is about right maybe a little high.I am using Gronk in a lot of lineups but he may be used to block like in the Chargers game which would actually be smart. If they do that then one of those wildcards like Burkhead,Dorsett or even Patterson could be the key to winning.Wish it was Sunday already.Too much thinking.

Key to this will be hitting the <20% player that goes off.

    P.S. Hi guys

  • TopDawgs07

A guy I like in my showdown LUs for the Rams is Greg Zuerlein. He’s accurate, strong leg, and the Pats have a very bend but don’t break defense. Another aspect of this game that I think plays out with a Pats win is holding the Rams to FGs.

So in 8 super bowls patriots opponents #1 Rb has been held well below season averages. The QBs have played slightly better than season average. And Wr#1 has been held down somewhere above 65 yards.

Eli Manning (twice), Trent Dilfer, and Joe Flacco have also been Super Bowl winning QBs.

Agree Hazy You playing any Defenses?I haven’t but could see Pats getting a pik or 2.Both kickers could get 8-12 points give or take.Sprinkled some kickers in a few lineups but u hit it on the head with lesser owned players. You know Belichek of McVey is going to come up with some sneaky plays for Dorsett and Everett. What do you think Burkheads ownership will be?

Some but not much – I’ll be loading up on the Dorsett/Everett/Burkhead/Reynolds of the world and will have probably 5% of dart throws like Develin, Higbee, and Patterson.

  • mike42

I’m not getting Burkhead in this spot at all. He only got touches because they went run heavy Vs KC outdoors in the cold. . After Sony got 29 carrries, they used rex Vs the 32 run D. His skill set on turf or the game plan doesn’t lends itself to him having a good game. I got zero Rex. Easiest decision on the slate.

    Maybe not.
I think there will be a lot of FGs in this dome game. Some long ones too.
I’m using kickers, and FGs in my SB prop bets.

As well as no Rex Burkhead.

Develin is +1200 to score a TD, he has had 6 carries this season and scored 4 TD’s. I think he might get one chance in this game if they are within a couple yards of the goal line. If he scores the games first TD he is +5000. I think both he and Michel get a rushing TD.

Is BB in the Super Bowl actually going to give a guy who had 6 carries all season the ball at the goal line ? in a close game ? Maybe in a blowout, but I highly doubt it in a game that isn’t decided.

If you have less than $500 left on the table you might min cash but not getting a top 100. 350,000 ppl and they’re will prob be a 50-way tie for 1st. Don’t think about what studs to cram in but more about game flow from start to finish. Put a player you think might luckbox 2 TDs but only on 25 yards and put them at Captain. Don’t be afraid to use both D’s and a kicker in the same LU. Play guys that are on every “don’t start” list. Like I said, unless you’re ok min cashing. If you want to come in the top 100 in this particular Showdown put your LUs in assuming that you’ll lose all of that money. Pats DST/Hogan/Woods/Higbee w $1,800 left on the table. Reynolds at Captain w Zuerlein, Michel, and Goff (no Brady) w $2,200 left on the table. Just my thoughts.

LOL true I got some lineups with $4000-$6000 left over
