In 2015 the first game he didnt shut brady down. If Keshawn martin dosent muff a punt late in the game the patriots win that game and the win the afc title game and go to the super bowl,
New england had a injury riddled oline and no run game other than that brady has had his way with wade phillips defense.

  • fettycat050385

Gronk is gonna have a huge game
Cooks will be a non factor.

Hopefully the optimal lineup leaves a whole lot of salary on the board. If 2 out of 3 or all of Edelman, Brady, and Goff have below-average games, that could kill most lineups that use all the cap, essentially making it a much smaller field that’s actually competing for 1st.

Brady is not having a bad game though lol.

Exactly u want a “dart throw” it’s Patterson or a Devlin. But picking a blocking TE who hasn’t had a reception since week 9 is just wasting money. IMO.

Bad game for his price would be like 290 yds, 1 TD1 INT. Definitely within his range of outcomes given how much NE focuses on the run.

    No Gurley Capt?

Didn’t Wade Phillips lead defense shut down the Patriots twice just a few years ago, denying them trips to the Super Bowl?

At Denver they did. Jumped out early and controlled the game. That D was elite in almost every way and it was at Denver, getting the early lead was huge too. Basically, none or most of the things that happened that day are going to happen today. I just don’t think a talented, athletic but not anywhere close to elite D shuts down the Pats.

Gurley- There will be a play early in this game where everyone realizes he’s healthy. BB doesn’t give up a lot to RB’s in the Super Bowl but the rams do a lot of three level passing plays and I think Gurley gets a lot of underneath volume. You can’t scheme out everything, I’d guess they let Gurley catch short passes rather then the alternatives. Not to mention, their are 2 elite O-lines playing today, feels like the Pats O-line is the only one being focused on. I’ll be close to a 100% on him. Biggest concern is if BB uses a CB in coverage vs him.

Woods- There was a time when you played slot guys Vs the pats and it wasn’t that long ago. Woods is the de facto number one. Think it makes sense to go over on him. I like both TE’s too. Don’t eliminate Higbee either. I think going 12 personnel could be an angle the Rams take and they have been using more of it while most are not thinking that way.

You’re better off backing Gurley MVP on the books @ 16/1

He performs well on this stage, he works against one of the Rams biggest weaknesses, and he helps Brady get rid of the ball quick.

uh…the Rams are allowing the 3rd least amount of receiving yards to RBs this year ..they held Kamara, Ingram and Zeke pretty well

  • marker0357

Ballsy lineup #1 is Gronk & Everett, Pats & Rams DST, Ghost & The Leg. Ghost as the Crown.

  • mike42

Last thing, the pats have looked dominant in the first halves of these playoffs because they outsmarted their opponents. I “think” that will be more difficult to do Vs the Rams brain trust. If they don’t outsmart the Rams early the Rams should win and could win easily. All the concerns we had for the Pats a month ago will be highlighted. No one thinking that will happen and odds are against it but just not as low as roster construction would suggest.

As of now I got NE 2. I Just remember last year thinking that NE D, especially the front 7, was void of talent and how masterful of a job BB did coaching them into a very solid unit. Then the SB happened and that D got lit up. This year, a lot of parts of the Pats are low on talent and the coaching has once again been extraordinary. Does facing a coach that BB maybe can’t outsmart lead to them to getting exploited in the ways we all knew (including Pats fans) was possible a month ago?

Just think the odds of LA scoring 38 and controlling this game are higher then everyone thinks even if the odds are NE wins this game.

    Good luck homies
