I will drop the NFL Week 12 thread later in the week as we all probably will be focusing on the Thanksgiving slate.

On FD, I like the idea of loading up on Zeke or Lamb in the flex if they are both still questionable before lock. If Zeke is out, you can pivot to Diggs. If Lamb is out, you can pivot to Waller.

I also think Pollard is the better choice over those in his price range (Singletary and Moss), so can probably throw him in some as well in case Zeke gets scratched after lock.

Based on how this NFL season has gone the DET/CHI game will probably be highest scoring total for Turkey day … though it might not be pretty.

    Should be a Montgomery game

The slate/games look terrible from a football perspective but its probably a very good spot for dfs to apply correct game theory. They will be probably be a lot of strong takes that you can take advantage on.

Buffalo/New Orleans looks like a heck of a game that neither team can afford to lose. I think that will also be the fantasy gem that gets lost with most people playing Dallas/LV and/or going contrarian with the Bears/Lions.

If you didnt know Yahoo has a NFL $1M “Everyone Wins” Thanksgiving Baller [$100K to 1st], 1 dollar single entry contest

  • kdsdawg

Seems I have heard before that playing both RBs in a game isn’t a good idea. I really want Montgomery and Swift in a single entry L/U

personally, I don’t think that applies in a short slate or showdown.

Yep, some other rules that don’t really apply

Not playing any offensive players vs your DST
Using all of your salary. You probably don’t want to leave $5k on the table, but $1k or so seems to be okay.
Not playing TE in the flex

In the biggest non-surprise of the year so far.

    Jason Garret has been fired.

It’s pretty wild that it is single entry. Could you imagine winning $100k off $1 lol

Yeah I was happily surprised to see it was single entry. Overall smart move by Yahoo. Plus the 100k entry cap also means there can easily be a solo winner. Winning $100k off $1 is amazing.

My parents won a lot more than that, but they just picked numbers.

If Robinson plays I may take him over Mooney if Mooney is gonna be super popular.

  • NDNole

Monty probably gonna be the highest owned on the slate right? Doesnt matter, im not fading.

Mooney getting touted everywhere because he had 16 targets BUT he only caught 5 of them and has very low ADOT/air yards. If he doesn’t bust a tackle or beat a defender early, his stat line would look like a typical Jarvis Landry game posting 5-27-0

Mooney has only broken 12.6 DK points in 4/10 games and only hit 20 twice (the last 2 games on which he got a TD). He feels very TD dependent to me as he has only hit 100 yards twice all season despite decent volume all year.

Definitely a cash game play as he’ll be chalk but for GPP and lower ownership, I’d definitely sprinkle in ARob to differentiate or else Goodwin if ARob doesn’t play – both of them will get deeper throws and likely have equal TD equity.

  • Supersharpie

The payout structure for FD’s big $5 is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in terms of DFS. I almost threw up in my mouth when looking at what it pays out to the top 1% and .1%.
