I think MVS is a shitty receiver (ok, average at best) and G-Mo is the play if choosing between them. Also. Bears have a big drop in the quality of their slot corner play this year by moving down from Bryce Callahan to Buster Skrine (a guy named Buster also shouldn’t be a slot corner 🙄). I see ARod and the Pack exposing the one real Bears D weak spot early in the game.

Dammit BIF, I have MVS in a LU that I can fit Geronimo in. Why you gotta say that? Geronimo it is.

I had the RB committee going like this for Carries and Targets

    Monty 15 & 3 – 18 total
    Cohen 5 & 5 – 10 total
    Davis 3 & 1 – 4 total

Davis is getting more then 4 touches even if Monty is lead guy

interesting. I dont think monty gets any targets maybe 1. Others if its not catchable and Trubisky is running for his life.
I thought Cohen gets 10-15 carries and if the WR are covered maybe up to dbl digits on the targets.

I really hope Montgomery is everything that many people here believe he is. I am a bit skeptical at the moment.

I might be 1-3 low on carries for each RB if they grind it out a bit or try to eat clock but overall I think it’s 70-20-10 percent for carries and 30-60-10 for Target percentages

Thoughts on Cohen or MVS in showdown tonight? Super hard to project who will score more of those two since they are both dependent on similar game scripts for their teams but it will only likely work for one of the

Pretty sure I read the bears gave up the least number of catches over 20 yards .have mvs in 1 lu just in case but he is a fade otherwise playing like 12 dk lus in various gpps

    All over Allison

  • ASitar

    Graham/Monty or ARob (or Allison)/Davis?

I follow the Bears and you have said your a fan. I dont get where/how you believe this.
Not trolling, I respect everything you say here on the forum. You are the BIF of the NFL forum.
No preseason, just media propaganda from training camp.

Nagy said he believes they used Cohen too much last year which should translate to a handful of touches (maybe less). Montgomery first and second down RB, he should get about 15 touches give or take dependent on game flow. What do you think? I feel like both numbers are pretty logical with game script being the unknown.

Cohen won’t see 3 carries tonight is my best guess. Otherwise, same page on tonights slate across the board.

So I feel like I’m being go cute on my one fanduel bullet… I have Crosby but could swap him for either Geronimo or MVS. Any thoughts?

  • mike42

No way the $3 play action fills. 110k out of 198k. That’s the one where we get lots of overlay. FYI

  • deeebo

hi all – you guys have any last min TE i could pickup for season long for the week? someone who would be on the waivers like a scrub that has potential for a few pts …i have burton and obviously he’s inactive tonight

  • timusbr

I think Cohen is used as much or more than last year. I think situations of when he is used will be a bit different. I saw the Nagy quotes on Cohen and as said above in 1 of too many posts, The Bears depended on Cohen too much, put him in less than optimal situations. I thought Nagy’s interview was more a critic on himself than on Cohen. I didnt get out of it what others did ….He will be used less. just mho (Edit – oops more is what I had in mind. more than Montgomery)

your right game script is unknown, thats why we gamble and chat about it before hand.
You dont know me Mike but I have a tremendous amount of respect for everything you wrote last year in the thread. I looked for games we were in agreement on and bet them. I owe you a few Beers

By all means The Bears Shaheen should be your go to guy this week.

You have MNF in your league correct. With AB sitting and Gruden promising he will be targeted, check out Waller on Oakland

It’s cool. I feel very strongly that Cohen does not get a lot of carries this year. 0-5 range. Basically, he is not going to be in the backfield a lot when the ball is snapped. Motioned. Spread out. That kind of thing.
