hmmm. dallas is -3.5.playoffs on the line for some teams 7 teams in postseason from each conference.

  • Steverino01

After yesterday, I feel like this may be the best way to pick players.

  • Joeltimb

    Dalton revenge game.

  • superjon

Great bounce back spot for the Chargers.

I’ll have a nice mix of Allen, Williams and Henry in a lot of my LU’s.

One of the biggest question of the week for me will be whether I think Zimmer is willing to attack a defenses weakness instead of running his strength into their strength. The Tampa defense can be passed on and AT/JJ are great WRs to do that with. If they try to run cook into the elite rushing defense and keep finding themselves in 2/3rd and long though then I like the spot a lot less.

    one word

Do we think the giants defense is legit good or is it average? Kyler Murray is very cheap on FD this week

I thought Tampa defense was one of the best values at first glance. Only 2900 on DK

I was thinking same thing. Bucs bring pressure. Bucs def does look good.

  • 808state

Seahawks are also a good value at defense and it’s a revenge game for Jamal Adams

DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel added to the COVID-19 list.

Samuel on watch, Moore is out so he must be positive. If Samuel plays I believe he may be a lock for me.

They had a major outbreak – going to be funny when NFL moves their game versus Denver yet made the Broncos play with no QB ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • synth

So many teams with an outbreak coming out of their bye

  • BigRay

Russ at home vs Jets…. Sign me up

  • Eyehatetodd

    Glennon week. LFG!

  • cwlee

It’s my understanding that the NFL made the Broncos play was because they were not honest at first about the contact tracing when asked. Can’t recall where I saw this though.

You shouldn’t even be looking at the slate until at least Thursday, maybe later. If you are your process is wrong.

I don’t finalize lineups until Friday when the final injury report comes out but I do use the first few days to create and narrow down my player pool. Like right off the bat, I already know I like Titans stacks this week, since I 3 max, I’ll probably have a Titans air attack in one and play Henry as a one off in my other two. I like Montgomery vs Houston, like Washington’s defense this week. Panthers are interesting in the sense that if Moore and Samuel are out, I really like McCaffery assuming he’s full go. McKissic is a really solid play, Gibson’s got turf toe, it would be surprising if he’s back this quickly. Bucs stacks look interesting as well. Some (all?) of this is obvious, but that’s how I approach things early in the week.

The reality of the situation is that people who look at the slate this early do so out of boredom instead of utilizing their time for better things and wait to make decisions when the information comes out. Making this thread this early in the week is actually dong the players a disservice because you are giving them faulty data. One of the reasons Sportsbooks release lines and totals Sunday night is because they can get player to make wagers on games with variables they don’t know about. Players should wait until at least Friday to start preparing.

Why are you here if its way too early to discuss the slate. There are plenty of things you can do in early week research to get a feel for the slate so come Friday/ Saturday when your actually ready to build lineups and narrow down the player pool your that much further ahead. You can many times exploit Vegas over/ under by getting a jump start on research to hit a line before the public herd catches up and shift the lines dramatically going into the weekend.

I agree it would be dumb to make definitive decisions and build lineups on Tuesday but it is never too early to start thinking about a slate to narrow your thoughts as the week goes along. Everyone has a different process and telling people that only yours is correct and everyone else is wrong isnโ€™t very helpful IMO.

i saw a story about Minshew begging for his job back. I wonder if he was successful. I think Minshew would be a bump for Chark

Feel free to come back on Sunday morning around 12:57 ET. That way your cynical posts will get lost amongst all the last minute updates.
