If I double up every mini slate from now till superbowl I might be able to get my account back to where it was after this zeke/fournette disaster.

I think it is already clear this week will be decided by who has quit and who needs to win.

Derrick Henry might break the single game rushing record this week.

Really tough decisions this week w/so many teams already eliminated from the playoffs. Proly not gonna use Davante the rest of the way and he has been great for me this year. Teams will protect franchise players, Not using Evans, Mixon, Julio, Lindsay, Fournette or Barkley. Love Mack, Gurley, Henry and Zeke. Think Michel gets good run for the price as well.

Robby Anderson instant lock. Playing for a contract with a QB who wants to throw against an eliminated team on the road in a meaningless game @ $4,500.

Lot of big rb’s back in play. Which 2 to fit in? CMC, Gurley, Zeke. Then you have Chubb and Mack with good matchups. Gonna be tough to decide. If Carolina loses tonight it may affect their usage of CMC next week as they will pretty much be out of the playoff race. Not sure if they’d be eliminated with tiebreakers but they’d need a couple teams to lose their last 2. Green Bay may have just quit the season after being eliminated yesterday. That line opened yesterday with GB favored 2.5 and it already flipped to Jets favored 1.5 Jets will play hard at home, kind of like Darnold as a cheap QB for gpp’s to get the studs in.

Writing my write up with Jets love as you post this. HA!

Well this is something I just thought of but with DET having basically nothing to play for and a gimpy Stafford do the Vikes give Cook a rest and run out Murray a bunch? I haven’t looked at the price but he seems to have high TD equity (even with Cooks). I think I’ll def have some shares. Vikes need healthy receivers too!

Or does this seem like chasing?

It’s not chasing because he always gets some carries. And does have some td equity even with Cook in there. Don’t lock on to that play and follow some beat reporters from Minny to see if they give you any sense of what you are thinking. Like reading today that Fournette wasn’t going to get a full workload was the Jags plan would’ve been great info a few days ago so I didn’t have any Fournette.

Thank you! I’ll keep as up-to-date as possible but if things are murkier I’ll still play a bit of him.

Incoming Tevin Coleman chalk week!! Also the way the Saints and Steelers have been playing lately that point total seems way too high.

Gurley I’d worry about. Kind of hurt Vs a team that can’t be competitive with most teams. Most guys I think play as if they would in any other game. I don’t think AR and Davante scale back at all. Not sure what happened with Fournette. They reduce his second half touches but have him return kicks for the first time ever.

Saints are way more potent at home though.

you may have a point w/AROD and Davante, but I am still reluctant even though Adams has been great for me this season. I looked at his TD progression the last couple years, then GB getting rid of Jordy said a lot as well, and figured he was my top WR this year. I expected better from Rodgers but the knee injury had an impact. Still Davante has been amazing. Could have had a few more TDs easily including a couple off his fingertips. I will say AROD is committed to his legacy and toughness and maintaining his Q-rating (television not quarterback) for all those commercials. He won’t hold back, but management and the coaches may limit his exposure. It’s purely a risk/reward calculation from their perspective. The guy has played hurt all year, less so lately, but the risk is clearly there for ownership.

As for Gurley, AZ is soft vs. the run and the last thing LA wants is to lose home field advantage to NO or CHI in the last two weeks. CHI a game behind but has the tiebreaker advantage I believe. Gurley’s price may be offputting and the risk from a gimpy knee could keep ownership a little lower than usual. He is always a possible 3TD threat, so will have him in some LUs. Love Mack this week after getting 27 touches yesterday—see a Henry-like encore for Mack in Week 16

I like Gurleys backup and I honestly don’t know his name as of right now. No way he carries a big load or plays much at all if they go up by 2-3 scores. Have 🔥 next to his name after 1 qtr and ❄️ next to him by the 4th. Still early, no lock that he plays if they think rest is the answer. The problem isn’t his knee, it’s his heart.

Yeah but what do you make of the line movement? Moved 5 points over night, might that suggest Rodgers may not play?

    Coleman or Jamaal?

    Asking for a friend.

Chubb, Mack, Zeke and go from there.

forgetting price, which of the following, if any, do you like better than Gurley for floor or upside: Jamaal Williams, Damien Williams, Michel. Jamaal should get 20 carries+targets minimum, but in a meaningless game. Damien gets carries + targets+ GL work against a weak SEA run D, but the game is in SEA. Michel—just figure it’s a Michel type game and PATS want to get him going where game flow should also favor him.

If I’m looking at this right Dallas can lock up the division with a win this week right? They’ll probably look to just run Zeke down the Bucs throat?

Philly obviously needs to win, I think you gotta have some Ertz and maybe run it back with Hopkins.

Minny needs to win, I think Diggs can get it done against Slay.

Seattle needs to win. If you’re playing the night slate I’m interested to see how Seattle’s backs are priced. Could be a situation where you handcuff 2 of them against KC’s run D

  • sox9

Gurley diagnosis is knee inflammation. Think he may not practice this week until Friday or even until game time—just a guess—-but plays three quarters. Is that enough? Maybe not for his price, but he could easily get 2 TDs vs. AZ run D. LA may also run him more as a receiver in 4 receiver sets.

    Do you mean Gurleys backup?

  • sox9

Gurley could also be rested Week 17 and then have a playoff bye week after that—so maybe he does get good run this week as the RAMS fight for home field advantage and can rest him later. I get the blow-out risk w/AZ though. Won’t be overweight Gurley—but have him in several LUs, maybe a bit underweight but not much

The only Gulrey back up I would have liked would have been Malcolm Brown, but he’s done.

Like Lockett as a sleeper w/everyone moving to Baldwin after last week. Speed kills KC as far as opposing WRs go.
