It’s been all the talk – SOFT prices this week. I’ll note what stands out to me, feel free to add.

    QB:
Rivers ($7,000). How his price went down I have no idea. Yes it was against the Jags but the Jets aren’t too much better at defending the pass. Jets are great against the run which makes Rivers need to throw it even more. Love him here.

Big Ben ($7,500). See Jax D.

Brees ($8,900). There is so much value everywhere else this week, I think you can afford Brees here. I know he’s been awful but he has his best matchup of the year and you have to think we’d see his old form at some point right? No better time than this weekend against a pretty poor Tampa D – oh and they are at the superdome.

    RB:
Bell: ($7,300). Jags D and Bell is a beast. If you are going to pay up for an RB – this is the guy to have.

Murray: ($7,500). Houston hasn’t been great against the run and I think Murray has a good day, but I’m not sure if he will hit that 4X mark. Think Bell has a better chance.

Ivory ($3,100). This pricing is unreal for Ivory, who has had a great season. Hoping the newbies will be too focused on the guys up top to scroll down for Ivory. He has great value here.

Jennings ($5,500). Again, a better price than I expected and possibly his best matchup of the year. I am staying away from Manning and the receiving core this week because I think they will be so focused on the run. Jennings is capable of being the top scorer this week for RB’s.

Martin ($6,100). Great matchup and you know they want to keep that Saints O on the sideline. Murray just torched them and Martin could have a big game here as well. He is still a little higher priced than I’d like to get him as this tourney you will need 4X value at every position to make any kind of $.

Bernard ($6,700). NE just got gashed and are on a short week. Bernard and co. have had a week off. I look for him to have a big game and also be a possible top scorer this week.

Sproles ($5,100). His price makes me take a look at him because if there is anyone capable of going off, it’s Sproles. They get a decent matchup and are at home.

    WR:
Brown ($8,100). It’s the Jags and Brown has been a beast this year. Think it continues here. Only thing that worries me is that they jump out to a big lead early and focus on the run.

Harvin ($6,100). The way to beat the Redskins is through the air and everyone knows it. I think Harvin could easily have a big day here.

Quick ($5,900). The Rams really don’t have another quality receiver to throw the ball to. Was hoping he’d be a bit cheaper but in what could be a game where they need to throw to keep up, Quick has the opportunity for a great outing.

Benjamin ($4,800). This one had me scratching my head like the Ivory price. He is obviously their best receiver and it’s not close. Cam loves him, and the Bears just got torched by Rodgers and Nelson. Prob my favorite value play at WR.

Allen ($5,800) and Royal ($4,400). Look at what Nelson and Cobb did. Detroit torched them without Calvin. Jets will be traveling across country – love the matchup.

    TE:
Walker ($4,300). Really soft for this guy. He has been great all season.

Bennett ($6,000). His price tag has finally caught up with him. As long as Marshall is iffy though, it seems as Bennett is the main benefactor of those targets. Tough matchup this week though.

Donnell ($5,700). Think a ton of people will be on him, esp given his matchup. That said, the Falcons are bad on D and he is a matchup problem for anyone.

Cameron ($4,400). Guy has a ton of potential but hasn’t been able to stay healthy. He’s back now and has a good matchup.

Miller ($4,000). Good value for a guy going against a Jags D.

Daniels ($3,300). Pitta is out and Daniels had a decent outing this past week. Colts have struggled against the TE this year. Great value here.

    Thoughts?

Already 27,800 people in that contest. I think it fills.

  • fantasybullybusters

Crowell… Love him at the price. Great guy to take a chance on…

  • HuckPig

any thoughts on Clay Harbor or Andrew Hawkins?

  • akarkennny

I like Clay Harbor, I do. It’s just hard to play Harbor with Kelce there at 3k as well — saying that SF has been solid vs TEs while IND has been awful. I might pivot to harbor in the million b/c of the ownership %.

  • Unsaid

It might seem like chasing the past but Miller is hard to pass up in any of my line ups. Jags D have gave every TE they have played a season high.

Golden Tate could have his best game this week. I see the Lions controlling the clock in this one.Really? Orton? Lions have not forced many turnovers so far but things may change in this one. Might as well take the Lions D too.

Quarless could be a hell of a gpp play this week. Rodgers on fire after last week. Thursday night blowout in full affect. Could be a sneaky 60, 2 TD play

Oh yeah. Rodgers is way on fire. Playing in Green bay today I am shocked I have not heard more comments about his WRs.

  • HuckPig

really like delanie walker at $4,300 too

  • Unsaid

Got Walker in my THURSDAY not sunday. I know there is a WR in that game that will be gold. Just not sure who and what team. Trying to get rid of Al Gore right now.

  • Unsaid

All right. After a good night’s sleep and some bacon and eggs im ready for Sunday. Bye Gore, Robinson and Royal. Hello Lynch, Hawkins and … wait for it….. Pierce. Pierce is ready for action! at $5300 on FD who could pass this up. I know Hawkins could be a gamble. But he is going to have some sloppy Titans CBs covering him…

  • HuckPig

been looking at hawkins too. kinda like murphy jr a bit more though

  • Unsaid

Now im starting to get scared on Pierce. Even worse im thinking Crowell.. Crowell and Hawkins on the same team.. Is this nuts? I know I dont want to get rid of Hawkins.. After reading about Tate it looks like he will start.

  • Dainfamusgc

id stay away from their RB situation until it plays it another week or 2. def play hawkins tho

I hate to be a downer, once again, but I don’t like Crowell this week (I swear there are players I do like this week) unless Ben Tate is 100% NOT going to play. The Browns have been telling anyone that will listen that Tate is their guy when he gets healthy and he’s the number one running back. If Tate plays, which unless I’ve missed something it’s looking like he probably will, Crowell is looking like he will be in line for the dreaded “change of pace” role.

  • HuckPig

ya’ll like Sanders or Maclin better? I just worry about Sanders getting TD’s more than Maclin. Both capable of putting up huge numbers

Thank you.. Good advice. I went with the Giants rookie. At home Vs Atlanta seemed like the right thing to do.At least we know what he will be use for and could have a good enough day to get the points I need. He could even have a great day like McKinnon did. I would be stoked if Williams would get 12 FP on FD.
I know Jennings will get most of the touches but he will get tired running all over Atlanta by the mid 3rd Q.

    Again thanks for the advice.

Only reason I stayed away from this game totally (sport book too) is I have no clue about the Rams at this point.. They just have not played enough games for me to act on. The games I have seen them play even makes it more confusing. The D passing stats on the Rams baffles me. #1 in passing.. Wow. I took Sanders on a FD team. For obvious reasons. TE Thomas does tend to take TDs away from WRs and Manning loves this guy It still did not scare me off. AZ has a good D and I look for them to shut down TE Thomas. That being said you could see WR Thomas have a TD game.. But I still like Sanders.

I like Sanders for cash and Maclin for GPP. Sanders just doesn’t have the TD upside that Maclin does IMO.

  • HuckPig

kinda where i’m leaning as well

  • dright9

I live in Denver. Talk on the radio has been that broncos havebeen working hard to gameplan sanders for 15 touches . All I’ll say

  • ebsteelers

    are defenses always this pricey?

pats and hawks both 4k +?

If it’s out to the media, I’d take it more as a smokescreen than anything else. I mean I’d still stack him with Manning in a lineup for sure, don’t get me wrong. I think they’ll be enough touches to go around, it’ll just depend on who will get the TDs.

  • HuckPig

just when i had made my mind on maclin… 15 touches?! that’s absured for a WR

  • dright9

Think percy hrvin. Sweeps and reverses. Screens slants deep posts

I’d normally agree about the media, but its former players like Alfred Williams saying this
