This is very concerning if this is the prop bet from Vegas…… considering I have Brees as my cash game QB.

Look at the quick numbers for his Career against the Panthers. Brees has averaged 287 yards per game against the Panthers over 19 career games. In his 10 home games against the Panthers on his career, he has went over 295 yards passing in 5 of his home games. Vegas generally doesn’t “botch” many props or lines very often. They have a lot better algorithms than most RG forum posters here.

  • bhodgman

72 yards rushing for Cam is an absurd prediction here – particularly coming off the concussion and with JStew back…

  • cmt56ss

The one thing to consider about Brees career games against Carolina — for the last few years the Panthers have been a great defense. This year, they’re mediocre at best (which reminds me I need to drop them in my season long league). If my .02 cents are worth anything, I see Brees going well over that yardage in this game.

Thank you means a lot. Spent lots of time on it. It’s just hard to run on the Packers and a Dom capers defense pretty sure they havent allowed a 100 yars rusher yet and are the top rushing df. They have given up the bombs this year which is Terrance one gift. Thing is he only needs 3 targets to get over 100 yards and a td . Marvin Jones lit the pack up for 200 yards , Diggs for 185 those are mind blowing numbers so if Diggs and Bradford can no reason Newman and Dak can’t do half that.

The 4 teams that played GB played are all very near the bottom in rushing yards. None of those teams have averaged over 90 yards rushing/game.

Dallas will expose them. Zeke will be very low owned and will win the money in a GPP this week, IMO.

I’m saying it’s a bad bet. Could it hit, of course..“any given Sunday”, and all that. But Vegas doesn’t make mistakes, they have hard numbers, big brains and bigger algorithms setting their lines. There are no hunches, that line is at 295 for a very specific reason.

Props are some of the easiest bets to beat at every sportsbook

Cam is stubborn and is a tough mofo, do you really think if he’s pressured and sees a gap he’ll just lay down? Yes, 72 yards rushing. Mark. My. Words.

  • Simplebitz

Snead or Michael Thomas?? Saints stack

  • markTDzb21

I totally understand all the Brees love, but people are acting like there’s no possible way he busts..he busted last week against horrible san diego, and he busted against the giants in a vegas predicted high total game. I know I know Brees is at home this time, and he may very well score 35..but lets get real it’s possible he only scores 20..I’m torn between him and Tygod in cash. Tygod lets me not have to rely on michael thomas and dennis pitta bread. Instead I can have jimmy graham and will fuller if I play Tygod.

  • billholler

Tyrod Taylor will be in a top 10 GPP lineup.

  • markTDzb21

I have a crazy lineup where I have him and mccoy and leveon bell and AB…hopefully it’ll be that one in the top 10. I’m thinking of playing 2 cash lineups though, one with brees and one with tyrod but I hate doing that.

Supposed to be extremely windy in Buffalo, not that he was going to pass much any way. I imagine the only offense will be him and McCoy.

  • deactivated66527

Love the matchups this week but absolutely hate the weather

  • markTDzb21

I’m banking on short passes to mccoy anyway..wind won’t affect that too much…that QB/RB stack works amazingly now with all these qbs throwing to rbs all game..people still are scared to do it though

Nonsense. He’s not going to do that to himself so that he can miss more games and completely screw over any chance his team has to rally this season.

I’m in the final stages on lineup construction for the week, I’m comfortable with all my RBs, TEs, Defenses QBs and low-priced WRs. I just don’t seem to like the high end WRs.

The high priced WRs I have are OBJ, Allen Robinson, TY Hilton and Brandin Cooks.

I have a few shares of AB, but I’ve largely faded him because of his price.

I have totally faded AJ Green, Julio Jones, Kelvin Benjamin because of the match up. I also faded Jordy Nelson because of his lack of production relative to what we’re generally used to. Of these players, which ones should I possibly rethink?

Fade ‘em all, if you ask me. Hilton, ARob, and Cooks are the only ones I’d roster this week.

Sammie Coates wasn’t fully healthy last week. Spent most of the game dropping balls because his glove was filling up with blood from a seven-stitch wound, and my guess would be that he fractured his finger at the same time. I don’t see why he’d be less sure-handed than he was when he broke 30 points last week. That said, I still think he’s an easy fade.

Eli Rogers is an interesting min-price flier, I think. I don’t like him as much as Breshad Perriman (6’2”, 215 lbs, runs a 4.24s 40m, OC was just replaced for not taking shots downfield, playing a vulnerable secondary as a close road dog), but roster construction being what it is this week, all are welcome.

Nelson Agholor and Brandon LaFell are the other super cheap guys I’ve been landing on to round out after paying up elsewhere. Fair to good matchups, plausible game scripts, decent usage, decent QBs. Don’t have to do much to not hurt you at these prices.

Still surprised there isn’t more buzz around C.J. Spiller, but that’s fine by me. Wondering if I won’t wish I owned more of him by Sunday night. Spiller, DeAndre Washington, and Jalen Richard are all attractive fliers if the weather outside is frightful.

The best way for Brees to bust is another injury. He’s not a young man, and he doesn’t have a good O line. The Panthers should also be better at rushing the passer than they’ve shown. I don’t worry about him as much as Andrew Luck this week (or every week, for that matter), but the thought certainly crossed my mind as I rostered him everywhere in cash.

  • Conley85

No mention of Anquan Boldin? Lots of cheap WR’s have been talked about but with no Riddick, and no Ebron the short passing game seems to have a huge hole to fill. Tate has been awful, and Marvin Jones may be too obvious. I like the chances of Boldin catching a few more balls and maybe even stealing a TD if we’re lucky.

Anquan’s somewhat less than 100% healthy (questionable with an ankle, though he practiced in full on Friday) and he’s already a slow 36-year-old man who’s not going to surprise anybody. Beyond that, he’s matched up against Joyner in the slot, which is the worst case scenario in Detroit this week. I guess you could play him if you get excited about 2-3x in cash, but that’s his upside. No GPP potential.

EDIT: Perhaps I should have said that to have GPP potential, he’d have to pick up all of Riddick and Ebron’s red zone equity. There’s some shot at that, since he’s a bigger body than Jones or Taters, but it’s a real long shot. He has four red zone targets through five games this year.
