Gruden said he has a decent to good chance of returning next week.

Oh yeah. I didn’t realize how efficient he is. I take that back. HAHAHA. Chicago set football back 80 years with that performance.

It’s painful to watch as a Bears fan

Skins have a pretty good RUN D. With, Norman they play much differently. Stuffing the box with safeties etc…

Kareem Hunt ran for 100 yards on them, Gurley had 88. They can be run on, numbers might be skewed because they’ve already played the Eagles and their lack of run game twice, Oakland and their meh run game, in a game they led throughout. They did hold down SF, a game they had a 17 point lead Take that for what it is.

Who is everyone playing at rb in the Thu game from the M-T slate?

  • Richebee

I hate when teams/players I enjoy watching have the late game. No matter what I’ll end up having too much of it.

I went Thompson and Allen and flexed two tight ends in tonight’s game.

Good call on the 2 te. I did the same just was off Thompson.

I’m thinking of having a McCown/Forte/pick a Jets receiver stack. That is a cheap stack against the Falcons at home. Allows to pay up at RB this week. What say you?

im going with Forte and JetsD, fading RB1’s this week. So I’m going for more passcatchers, exactly opposite of last weeks strategy and therefore no Jets passing at all. I dont really expect much from jets D but its min price and I’m going for PA more than ints or sacks.

I think McCown+(RAnderson/Kearse/ASJ) is kinda underwhelming. I think the Jets will use Forte like NE used James White and Powell/McGuire like DLewis/Gilislee, and that will be central to their gameplan. I just dont see the volume in this particular game. The only stack I’d like is McCown/Forte/Kearse. BUT…Tyrod is 300 more than McCown, finally has a couple non-5th-string receivers and rushing upside.

  • draggin49

Hmmmm, not sure how I will attack this slate for dk gpps. Zeke is a fortune, I had him all over this last weekend but not expecting that output again. SF is an embarrassment of an NFL team.
Zeke had the cake matchup and it just was magnified by SF complete inability to move the ball on offense . I read that too about Mixon commenting on not getting the ball enough , not sure if Marvin will try and punish him this week with limited use. Marvin is a shitty coach, should’ve been canned years ago.

  • Brian7479

If Norman doesn’t play I’ll be heavy on Dak. I don’t think Zeke has a big rushing game and Dak might have to play from behind if Cousins can somehow get his receivers to play football.

Naked Wentz is the way to go this week. Dude is a stud, but he spreads it around so much and anyone on their offense can take it to the house off a pass. I’m gonna have a whole lot of him by himself this Sunday

Love him but he will be so chalky we will have to differentiate elsewhere

  • Messiah717

    Wentz with Ertz.

You spelled A-W-E-S-O-M-E wrong. Last game he averaged over 25yds a completion. If he throws 30 times he is gonna have a monster game!!!!!!!

Why would you play a QB vs the Bears? Can you think of one that has had a good game against them this year? Only one, AR on a short week and he didn’t crack 200 yds if I remember correctly. The chances of a QB smashing against the Bears may be lower than it is for any team in football. The style of play combined with a good secondary screams do not roster a QB vs the Bears. Made sense to push it upfield vs GB but I doubt you see same gameplan VS Bears. IDK, at a minimum you have to lower the floor for any QB that plays the Bears and possibly the ceiling too.

You’ve led me astray, Mr. Mike. He was talking about the Pretty Boy Assassin, Mitchell Trubisky—not Brees. And he was probably being facetious.

But yeah, don’t roster Brees or a John Fox quarterback.

I’m looking at the New Orleans running game in that one.

Tyrod finally has non-5th string receivers? The leading receiver (based on yards) from last game was Deonte Thompson, a guy that had 39 catches for 477 yards in 4 seasons before this year, last game literally accounted for 1/7 of his current career yardage total. Oh not to mention he was just cut by the Bears, yes you read that correctly. The number two receiver was Nick O’Leary who had 17 catches for 151 yards in his rookie season last year. Jordan Matthews is obviously a good receiver but has 12/172/1 for the season on 16 targets so he’s hardly being used. Maybe their best receiving option on the season, Charles Clay, is now hurt. Considering Tyrod had Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods last year I think it’s safe to say he currently has the worst receiving corps of his entire career.

Does anyone else find those emails from RotoQL each Monday stating that it was so “easy” to win the MM if you just followed 3-4 steps? They make it seem that if you just did X, Y and Z – voila, you are a millionaire. For those that don’t see the emails it’s usually like “all you needed to do was use the draftsharks projections…then like these 4 players(with some lame excuses as to why you 100% should have been on ALL of them)…then make sure you had the salary at 49,800…then create 10 lineups – and boom! You are a millionaire by using RotoQL!”

If it was an easy as RotoQL says, why wouldn’t their pros just win it every week? What’s sad is that there are absolutely many people out there that get those emails and say “wow, Mike at RotoQL really lays out how easy it is to win a million dollars. Who cares if he says it the day after when it’s so easy to show what you should have done – sign me up!” I guess if I was running a company, I’d try to sell things like this…but people really can’t take these emails seriously, right?

Norman should be back, he makes this team. Difference between top 5 or top 20 D.

Washington was giving up an average of 22.25 points per game in games that Norman played in and Dallas is averaging the 6th most points per game. I’m not saying it can’t happen but I would consider Washington shutting down Dallas an unlikely outcome. Also, Washington hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire from the offensive side either.

My bad. What are your thoughts on MR. Rivers vs NE D? I like the matchup with NE’s lack of a pass rush and inability to cover a bunch of good WR’s, like it more since most will think NE fixed it’s secondary last week which probably didn’t happen. SD usually plays most tough, can see a 31-27 type game filled with fantasy goodness. Your thoughts?

Depositing another 250.00.. This has to last until the end of the year, no extensions !

Lots of interesting low priced RBs under 5K: Jalen/Washington , Mixon, DIon, Forte, Mack—feels like a mix and match week sprinkling them all in various low priced GPPs

Is Latavius Murray a bad play against the Browns?

That’s what I thought I was gonna have to do after Week 7 main slate, but luckily the primetime slate saved my ass, turned $50 into about $1200 and now have enough to attack a few more weeks to hopefully move in the right direction and avoid that redeposit.

I’m starting to think I might want to stack Bell / PIT Def for this week if Tate is gonna be out for the Lions as I think Pitt will just control this game and pound the run. Apart from that I need to decide which low priced back I like the most between Kamara / C. Thompson / Blount / J. White.

Other than that I’m already pretty locked in on Wilson / Baldwin for my lineups on both sites.

I think so, the Browns actually have one of the best run defenses in the league and Murray hasn’t shown that he can do much at all this year (last game being his only one with a decent score despite having a chance at the lead back role when Cook went down)
