    You still take 1st?

3rd but it helped me on my 2 Eagles CPT lineups

Scoring change cost me $1100 but I was expecting it as I thought it was a safety when it happened and was looking for a reason why it wasn’t being scored.

  • Texaspridejb

Man that sucks, hope you still ended up good, Those swings in showdown are brutal

Even with the stat correction, no one got close to the true nuts anywhere!

    PHI captain-Fulgham-Reagor-Gallup-Zuerlein-DAL was the nuts.

Seems like tomorrows game will be a similar build. 5-1 type onslaught. Bucs D priced up to 7,4K is crazy to see, but makes sense.

  • Agent47

So much for the Packers D at home against the Vikings haha. I really thought GB would be playing with the lead all the way and that Cousins would gift them a few picks since he leads the league in that department, but that’s DFS for you. Maybe I was a week early on Albert O. as he gets the dream TE matchup against ATL next week? Though the fact that he got only 1 target today was disappointing even though it went for a TD.

I managed to salvage my day a bit on DK Sportsbook by hitting on a prop for Bernard to score a TD. I really liked his chances considering he had scored in 4 of 5 (now 5 of 6) career games without Mixon and that the Titans had given up a TD to every RB they had faced this year except for Singletary. Had $100 on it initially but wimped out and ultimately only did it for $20. The $39 I won along with a few Herbert/Allen/Metcalf/Aiyuk lineups that cashed helped me make a very small profit on the day.

I saw a couple of people mention some big wins that they had – congratulations!

Never seen a guy with less of a chance than Dinucci. Cowboys should trade for Fitzpatrick

Dolphins should ask for Cedrick Wilson

Can’t buy a win at all. I tried to give it a shot again this week but nope, the DFS gods said “screw you Chrono!” How did I lose? Well I picked Jimmy G as my main slate QB. All he did was kill me and I’m a 49ers fan. Couldn’t overcome that. Can’t overcome the dart throw they call the TE position as well. Oh yeah, I actually picked the Chargers DST too. It was looking good early in the game. But these are the Chargers we are talking about. What do they have in common with the Atlanta Falcons? Blown leads. Ended up costing me points. So yeah, I fell short in cashing in my cash games. Thats how its been for me for 2020’s version of NFL DFS. This isn’t fun anymore. More like luckbox.

Has there not been a week where at least one player recorded a hat trick this season? Seems like there’s always at least one player. This week, it was Dalvin Cook. sigh

I’m guessing the reason the booth didn’t stop play last night to review the defensive TD was because the guy in the booth fell asleep due to the poor quality of the game.

Aren’t all Touchdowns and Turnovers reviewed ?

    They’re supposed to be, yes.

    But they never stopped play.

If they had looked at it even once, they wouldn’t known this needed a closer look and would’ve buzzed down to stop play. They didn’t buzz down, evidently.

  • yisman

We went from NBC showing it and Michaels and Collinsworth saying they will review and overturn it directly to Eagles going for 2, with no stoppage.

If they had reviewed it and Boger said “ruling on the field stands”, that would be one thing. Never happened. No buzz down, no review.

  • Moszman

They should’ve looked at it, long shot for Dallas to win last night but after that they had no chance.

Any thoughts on tonight? Just a full Bucs jam?

FD specific – don’t do DK so pricing/DST talk will be omitted

I’m having trouble settling on a lineup I like so far – I was kinda hoping somebody here would have some analytics running already…

Narrative-driven? The Brady v Brees march to history is most likely going to end someday with one of them having a career-ending injury, ending the TD record race – but in the meantime it does seem like they’re going to have that extra incentive to go tit for tat every time – and they play each other next weekend…

I feel like NYG D funnels a bit towards the pass and although it feels like the middle of the field is the place to be, does that lean Gronk? Has his latest success translated into more attention, especially with Godwin out?

Speaking of Godwin – that always benefits Evans to a strong degree – but Scotty Miller is hard to overlook for consistency and for sheer effort, the guy is a baller.

All metrics suggest that TB will have a sizable lead by halftime, putting the RBs squarely in play. Fournette seems to be more the 3rd down guy but I can’t decide if him or Jones will be closing out the game and/or getting the chunk plays when they come. GL seems to favor RJ, right?

Now throw in the vulture TD player that you usually have to have on your roster to win Showdowns – Brate? Johnson/Watson? :gulp: Vaughn? None have a sexy enough floor for a single-lineup but I’m guessing you’ll need to look at at least those 4 if your multi-entering.

I won’t recommend kickers. They very rarely seem to be in top lineups in showdowns.

So that’s all TB. As for my 1 NYG player I’m likely going to roll with Gallman for volume and as most likely to score a TD before it’s all over. I’m not going to spend time trying to figure out which of Engram/Slayton/Shepard is going to have the best game, Jones is too expensive – but if I punt NYG completely the lowest I’d go is Tate who’s cheap and has just as much chance as E/S/S at getting volume.

NONE of that is hard based on number/matchup analysis with stats etc, – more just from a football guy who watches and analyzes every game. I’m guessing the actual numbers guys here have stats/analysis that backs up some of what I’m saying, anyway. :)

I only roll one lineup because in the end the gut-calls are the ones you want to win anyway, right? GL tonight!

  • zovyn

Fack, shouldn’t have had that last scotch before I typed that. Just read it after I posted and I don’t think any of that was actually helpful so much as me thinking my lineup up out loud. :P

TL:DR above: – Yes, I can’t see much argument for anything BUT a full TB onslaught LU unless your MME-inclined and want those contrarian NYG stacks. I mean, anything can happen, right? Just doesn’t seem likely that the Giants will be able to put up much of a fight. But that’s why they play the game.

P.S. Yes, my drunk ass found the other thread. Meh.
