I need a ton of Jones right now

He’s not going even in the game. These teams are the worst.

Was in long enough to fumble ugh

  • depalma13

Well that’s the end of Jones.

Helluva tackle by Williams on White @ the goal line

  • fildo22

That Edelman to White connection would have been perfect for my lineup

I would argue that you need more than that from your cheap players. 4x from a $9k player isn’t the same as 4x from a $4k player. You’re putting yourself behind the sticks if that’s all your cheap guys do.

A good rule of thumb on DK is that you want 20 points from every slot for a GPP. In truth, you’ll need more than that. Took well over 200 to win today. Guys who don’t make it to 20 are probably going to become a liability in 2018.

In full agreement, I was just being conservative there. Yes, 20 average points from every slot is essential. With pricing getting tighter by the week, those that can correctly identify the low owned value plays have an advantage going forward.

Finished exactly on the cash line with 84.92 for an impressive $0.95 take. God I love Showdown.

    There’s always tomorrow.

Correction: They bumped my cash up to $1.08. That’s early retirement money.

  • Supershorty

I feel redeemed, decided to use Patterson/ MVS and fade Brady on show down! I lost bad on the main slate… Cam/Moore stack mixed with a bit of Theilan and decision to wake up early to remove Kamara and replace with Ingram.

  • kcroyalty29

Well, my Seahawks defense pick today was absolutely brutal. Ugh.

How many DK points do you guys think Elliot will score tomorrow against a stingy TN “D”?

And am I weird for believing that Cole Beasley outscores Amari Cooper?

  • Spartaca

This really was the week of defense, how many defenses put up 20+ Bears, Dolphins, Vikings.

Last 3 weeks high score to win the $1mil on DK.

    10/21 228.62
    10/28 242.8
    11/4 245.42

From needing an average 25.4 per spot to 27.2

Last week to min cash in the $1m you needed like 155.5 this week 165.

Worst week I had all year, pathetically bad. I did not do much research to be fair and used some value picks that worked before that did not come close to working this week. Only got RB’s right and Vikings defense.

    Bad day for the sportsbooks

Normally, a day filled with favorites covering the spread is the recipe for success for public bettors. But favorites were only 6-5 against the spread on Sunday. It didn’t matter.

“The public just nailed it,” Boyd Gaming sportsbook director Bob Scucci said in an email. “They had the big favorites — Bears, Chiefs, Panthers and Vikings — as well as the short ‘dogs, Texans and Steelers. And a lot of the overs.

“By the time we got to the two biggest games — Packers-Patriots and Rams-Saints — there were so many parlays alive that we were going to lose no matter what.”

The underdog New Orleans Saints beat the Los Angeles Rams 45-35, and the New England Patriots covered the spread in a 31-17 win over the Green Bay Packers.

The damage wasn’t limited to Nevada. New sportsbooks in Mississippi and New Jersey also reported taking it on the chin Sunday.

“Welcome to sports betting,” one longtime Nevada bookmaker said with a chuckle.

I’m a bears fan, they are really the only team that I follow closely. I haven’t missed his growth. The jets blitz more than just about any team and they get home less than anybody. Buf can get home without blitzing and it’s just a matter of time b4 teams spy him, play contain and that should lead to more mistakes too. Think it’s a poor comparison to compare what limited success the Jets had on the road with what Buf will have at home.

Also, if Arob is out and white is on Gabriel, it’s just going to be difficult for the Bears to score on O. The buf D should really be able to focus on the middle of the field and keep everyone up close to the line since one area Trubisky still sucks at is deep throws. If you just think about it, it should be real easy for Buf to give the Bears O lots of trouble in this setup.

Peterman and that offense is too shitty…

  • Brandon6385

UGH.. Starting to keep super frustrated… Last two weeks got crushed, did ok this past weekend, lost a little, but I had 0 Bears D, and not much Michel Thomas….

  • Petergunz82

Anyone have an idea what Dion Lewis and Amari Cooper ownership projections are for Sunday Monday only?

I am a loyal lurker of the football and golf boards here and I was one of those guys (3rd in playaction) and as it was happening I noticed that I could have won the million and I am more than ok with it.

I am a small time player who plays $30-$50 a week between FD and DK weekly during NFL season, usually milly and playaction on DK and FD Sunday million and the $3 for intermediate players and occasionally the slant on DK. Every week I make my milly team first and then go from there. I used to worry about having the wrong team in the wrong contest and playing the what if game. In the past because of that I have also entered my milly team in other contests but I decided with my limited budget it is best to differentiate a bit and give myself more avenues to a big payday. Glad I did that. If I entered all my teams in all contests in the past 3 season I might have gone broke by now so the what if game cuts both ways.

Big thanks to everybody here as I have learned a bunch from reading the boards and the articles on the front page.

Welcome to the “centaire” club-I got my original investment back too. I did really good on the 4pm games though and won $26 off of them. I only won between $0.25 and $1.50 on the main.

Stills being active saved my week and my bankroll. I moved off Mccaffrey/Parker/Broncos to Gurley/Humphries/Bears.

The salt is real. Attacking his physical appearance because he didn’t feed your DFS guy 30 points? Pretty sad.
