I feel for the Bears lol, the kicker must feel like sh*t

I figured he was in trouble after he drilled the free-walk through one after philly called the “ice him” timeout and Parkey looked upset instead of being more confident.

dropped a few thousands on Bears ML live

hated the play call before the kick

throwing it deep rather then trying to get a few more yards for the kicker

Well you had 15 seconds no timeouts. Would have had to been a quick out

They had no timeouts left so options were limited and Philly already had sidelines sealed – they were not likely getting any completion in bounds.

For an NFL kicker that’s an easy kick that should’ve been made. No wind to worry about and a practice kick on top of it. Bears will have a new kicker next season.

Honestly though, it is hard to find 32 guys who can reliably make that “easy kick,” under those conditions. We always sleep on that and downplay it. Take it from a Seahawks fan when I say it’s not as easy as just going out and finding a guy in free agency.

    Unreal

Tough loss for you man. A foot in the other direction and you win. I knew I wasn’t getting over the -6 when they missed the 2 pt. conversion, but I know you were in a pick ‘em.

  • odanny

I can’t believe how many times Parkey hits the uprights, even Tucker missed at home today. I think the only kicker who is automatic on FG’s under 40 is Vinatieri.

  • mike42

Funny how our kicker missed a FG and it turns into Foles is the truth again. He didn’t dice up our D, Mitch outplayed him or damn close to it. Deebo laughing at our D cuz of a missed FG. Fitting end to the season. Double doink.

Can’t believe Nagy didn’t just have us play Minny again.

A historic defensive season is over. The best defense in the NFL is done for the season, they led the league in so many categories. The last two Bear defenses comparable to this one were 1985 and 2006, both Super Bowl years. Hard to gauge the loss of Burton in this one, there was not another comparable receiver to A-Rob in this game, and that seriously was hurting Trub’s second, and third options. Gabriel and Miller were not enough, the run game never got going, and Cohen has always been hit or miss.
