Another fantastic slate. NYI chalk night again!? Boston? Pittsburgh? NYR/NJ? TB? NSH? Dallas? LA!? SJ!? Too many possibilities!

Also, the DK Line-Change also has a wonderful payout structure. I won’t be playing it because I want more entries than doing $33 per would permit, but it’s just great. 10% of the prize pool to first, 10% of first to tenth.

Testo crushed it again yesterday, and also WiZaKoR who came out 2nd in the late $27 (I really have never seen someone crush turbo/late contests like him)! I won the single entry $12 but I still lost a little overall. I have my job party today starting in the afternoon so I’ll probably only enter a single bullet in the Line Change (like you say Zieg, nice payouts).

All the Tampa! But damn they’re expensive

    Hey guys,

Relatively new to NHL. Primarily playing FD cash, what positions do you pay up for? I’m guessing pay up for centers and wings, and try to find value defensemen. What about goalie, Should I look for mid-tier or pay up?

    Feels like a Kopitar night.

Depends on the night, but tonight is one where I intend to pay up for goalie for the most part (looking at TB, NSH, LA).

I also tend to pay up for offensive players and punt on D, but I’ve been reconsidering that strategy all season. Stud D-men are putting up big scores all the time.

Varlamov at 7000 has been decent lately. I think Colorado should win. They’ve been scoring. It is always a risk. But it allows you to pay up for another player.

Talbot at 7400 too is good. Blues have no confidence they can score and we all know Oilers score in buckets.

PIT tends to shine vs the Blue Jackets, so I’m paying up for Sid in at least 1 lineup. Other than that, definitely liking NYI, but also can’t help but like that ANA2 line as cheap salary relief.

Tonoght also feels like a money pit. Some third line that nobody had is gonna go off. Maybe San Jose 2 or 3. Canucks goalies blow.

    NJ2 & SJ3, my boys.

What happens when you play both of your value lines in the same lineup and they both go off? Do you achieve god status in the DFS community?

Anyone like the sedins line? Tough match up but they’re dirt cheap and been playing well

Would want to wait and see which SJ goalie shows up. And with that being the late game and SJ known for last minute late-night switches, I’m staying away from the goalies.

Sedins line has went off a few times lately. At least play them in one or two lineups.

What do you guys think, Hedman or Karlsson? Which one has the edge here.

what’s everyones thoughts on playing against a team like CBJ who is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights? Does it really matter? I know when I was a betting man that was one of my angles.

Well, playing a bitter rival with the hype of Christmas coming and a break coming, I don’t think they will take the night off and they’ll get a few but I don’t see them winning. Watch for Jones to lead the team again.

Agreed. I think tonight is really tricky. I keep going back and forth between SJ, TB and NSH.

Yep you’re on the right teams.

I can’t get over how underrated and how under the radar NJ2 is. Bratt is out and Johanson is in his place but still. There are 2nd lines out there that do much less and they’re upper 4000s low 5000s. I guess people aren’t aware that NJ scores a lot of goals.

And of course daily faceoff has the lines all messed up even though I read on the nhl website that Johansson is in for Bratt with Boyle and Noesen.

Marchand, Spooner and Nash are all sick. Game time decisions.

Looks like Saahil is dipping his toes in NHL again tonight. And by dipping his toes, I mean max entering every GPP on DK.
