Entered and donating to you guys tonight. You guys have been helpful this season, my turn to give back, lol

  • PhoFever

Somewhat relieved to have a straight-forward 3-gamer tonight, where everything seems to “fit,” price-wise. OddShark picks: LAK over WSH and the over, PHI winning handily over PIT and the under, and SJ beating VAN by a goal and the under. PHI has their highest implied goal total.

Biggest challenge in lineup construction seems to be trying to guess the right PHI players to take, and of course, SJ players, which is always a perplexing enigma.

  • hautalak

I got WSH all the way tonight. I’ll take PIT and SJ too. Have to put it together now…

Also side note who’s going to jump in for the DK ASG group contest? They did it for golf a couple years ago and it is was greatly successful! Who wants to start some more leagues?!

Edit: The contest is for NBA showdown on ASG. It was done with PGA the last time. Should be a nice freebie.

  • Syzltuth

I’m up for any free rolls lol and would be happy to join anyone’s league if they’re started and I’m invited

I might try and get a few going but it looks more like a WTA type than a tiered contest. And I only saw it on a banner for recent contests on the app, I didn’t see a promotion for it yet. I think you’re already in the NHL league. It said the contest will just show up in active leagues.

I’m on a streak! I finished 2nd in the (small) late $33 GPP. I would have won much more if it wasn’t for Hayes’ empty net goal, but such is DFS!

My gut lineup for tonight has a part of all home teams and Kempe as a punt.

My gut build has Kempe and Toffoli, a home team, and a homer team :)

Looks like a 5 person league has to be created and then each of those league members draft their lineups and the combined point total is compared to all the other leagues entered. Also, like you said looks to be wta a trip to the nba finals. Wish they had some tiered runner up prizes

Yeah I remember the PGA Foursome had tiered prizes that were nice. I won on like 3-4 of my leagues

They’ve been calling Kings every game of their current road trip. Lo and behold, the Kings are 3-1 in those games. The one loss (Boston) was in OT, and they were leading for a lot of that game.

With all those line changes, I can’t fit Kempe anymore! I guess I’ll have to go with Hagelin!

The model I run, which is based on a blend of what each offense is doing and what each of the opposing defense and goalie is allowing, and takes into account the full season and the last ten team games indicates this as the projected goals scored for each team.

    VAN – 3.59
    WSH – 3.10
    PHI – 3.02
    SJ – 3.02
    PIT – 2.80
    LA – 2.67

    Odds Shark has:

    PHI – 4.20
    SJ – 3.60
    LA – 3.10
    WSH – 2.70
    VAN – 2.50
    PIT – 1.70

Blend the two and you get:

    PHI – 3.61
    SJ – 3.31
    VAN – 3.04
    WSH – 2.90
    LA – 2.88
    PIT – 2.25

There’s always the “hometown narrative” with Jones in Vancouver, but the more I look at the data, the more I’m willing to fade the LA/WSH game and stack the last game of the night and mix in some Flyers.

Well you’ve at least compelled me to play some VAN players.

Had no idea Jones was from BC much less “North Van.” I just assumed since his name was “Martin” he had to be from Quebec.

    Looks like Malkin back tonight

Love info like this, thank you! Copley in for Washington, does that affect your projections? Not sure if you had holtby in there originally.

Ovechkin back with Wilson and Kuznetsov, Malkin back, Giroux back with JVR and Konecny. It’s probably because I didn’t play those teams lately so I didn’t look for updates.

ah. I’d thought Giroux has been with JVR and Konecny for awhile? Maybe I’m wrong.

    Those WSH lines are new.

The last slate that had PHI on it, DFO was showing JVR and TK down on the 3rd line with Patrick.

But otherwise, that trio has been together for awhile.
