I think Pitt comes out strong tonight and with 6-0 or 6-1

  • TicketRaven

    Anyone like this action?
    Desharnais = interesting value tonight
Stanislav Galiev = very very interesting tonight

    • Locking in Ghost, Voracek, and Steve Mason tonight on many lineups

If you’re taking bets count me in! I think Pittsburgh will be good, but 6-0 6-1.. that’s quite the beating..

Not sure I’d ever lock philly skaters into a ton of lineups, but I do like Mason tonight (even though I won’t be using him).

Galiev is supposed to be good, but I think there is enough mid range value out there that exposing yourself to a ton of galiev probably won’t work out well.

Desharnais is a turd. Guy never shoots the puck. Pass machine. Low ceiling low floor. (Some of you may remember the last time I said this it was about Mike Ribeiro and then he scored… lol).

I like Ghost and Voracek, too.

Wanted to play Martin Jones cause I typically like to play a late game goalie as my hopeful come from behind and gain a bunch of points as long as I get the win but I think I’m gonna change that up for Steve Mason…. Anaheim seems like to tough an opponent despite SJ playing better on the road and Montreal, well they are still Montreal even if they had a few days off

WPG is in a good spot but even if they score multiple goals I wouldnt be surprised to see them all come from different lines. Ehlers will almost certainly be overowned coming off a hat trick, and WPG generates one of the lowest high danger shot totals on the slate (but dallas does give them up like its their job). Personally Id rather go towards teams like philly, washington, nyi, edm, pit, but if wpg1 scores more than 1 goal tonight its likely youll need at least a portion of that line to cash.

Some hot takes for tonight’s slate:

Dallas and San Jose will be over owned in match-ups that aren’t spectacular.

The leafs will screw all of us who played Rask over and finally start scoring (the peripherals more or less say they should have been scoring all along, particularly on the PP.)

Montreal/Philly and NYR/NJD will each feature under 4 goals.

All the PIT chalk will get there.

STL / NSH will feature one team winning by 3 or more goals—-but I have no idea which team.

McDavid will have a 3-pt night.

    Marian Gaborik will score.

I think I have rusty skater legs today (mental rust). So many options, I am having trouble finalizing my picks.

    I hear ya!

I had originally backed off SJS because I thought Gibson would play, but since he’s not I sprinkled some Sharks back in.

My LUs hope you’re wrong on the Pennsylvania takes ;)

      2016 DraftKings FHWC Finalist

There’s 8 or 9 teams that produce HD chances at a lower rate than WPG Belt, and the one’s above them aren’t playing against Dallas. That all said, I still rate WPG below a few others.

throwing some lineups on to FD today for their survivor tournament/hattrick promo. First time on here in a few months, forgot how much i like this interface. Not giving them a dime though, just using FPPs

Anybody have any thoughts on whether DailyFaceoff or Leftwinglock is usually more up to date? Seeing a ton of discrepancies in the lineups that each site is reporting, especially on the power play.

Never rely on them. I rely most on beat writers.

That being said, this AM DailyFaceoff seemed to be updating things (and posting the updates on twitter) at nearly the same times as the beat writers were. And much of it looked correct to me at first glance.

Anyone here if Kunitz is playing for sure? Last I heard he was a game time decision.

He basically said he was good to go, but that the doctors needed to clear him. Therefore, Sullivan deemed him a GTD.

If I had to guess I’d say he is 90% likely to play.

I have this sinking feeling I’m going to regret fading Wash like the last time I did that.
