    anthony mantha returns
    but is better

    Gotta stick with the en fuego elliott.

    To whoever was recommending FLA2 last night, that was awesome, nice call. Wish I would have taken your advice…how the heck did you figure that?
    On another note, sure glad I didn’t follow the “stack BUF” post. Stacking Sharks helped me break even on what would have been a real doozy of a night.

    On to tonight, very reluctant to go all in on CGY. Betting on another game like their performance Monday vs. Pitt – a 4-3 or 5-4 game or something like that. Thinking about a a 3/3/1 with BOS2, CGY2 and a one-off the likes of Cory Perry or Conor Sheary. Thoughts?

    Crosby will be in the winning lineup tonight. He crushes philly

  • mathewsmarner

    out of all the games i’m loaded on pitts sheary, bonino, guentzel and malkin, and only two from cgy frolik, brodie howard in net

    Besides LA, they were playing the weakest defensive team (since Feb 1st) on the slate

    Toronto’s defensive stats:
    Actual GA60 = 2.94
    xGA60 = 2.94
    CA60 = 62.55
    SA60 = 34.75
    SCA60 = 10.69

    I had one out of 11 LUs that was heavy FLA, some of the rest had one of their defensive players in it. Not sure why I didn’t attack them more. Other than LA, EDM, and SJ having REALLY favorable match-ups,

    THanks. What site do you use for those stats? Is it the Corsica?

    yea, corsica.hockey

    you can do custom queries for any date range, home/away splits, and whatever stats you think are worth looking at. I usually build a spreadsheet for each slate from the data.

    I’m curious why? ANA appears to be in the best spot for the night

    Can COL finnaly put something on the scoresheat?

    Only playing 3 lineups tonight and I like a couple spots a little bit more, I still might try to fit them in somewhere but at this point I have Bernier and Vatanen in a LU and thats it

    I’m not big on ANA either. They have had issues scoring all season and they are three lines deep.

    Outside of Pit@Phi, Det’s top line seems the most appealing. Cheap to stack too.

    One could say STL is a candidate for the best spot of the night.

    You’re a corsica guy. Take a look at the xGA numbers for ANA of late.

    He seems like the best option, cheap and the win should be there. Although I never feel 100% comfortable with Slippin’ Jimmy

    COL and upside in the same sentence!? That’s when you know you’ve got an interesting slate.
