    Callahan draws in for Kucherov

Scary but in the all day I’m fading the tb/cbs game other than sergachev

strange scheduling to have a noon game and then the other games all at night

  • PhoFever

Ahh, Pittsburgh. They are becoming the Steelers of the NHL, how fitting.

Meanwhile NYI loses Tavares, gets the reigning Stanley Cup Champ coach, and is doing some great things.

  • yisman

sucks for me. I had a future on the Penguins

so Islanders advance and Blue Jackets will advance if they win tonight

no one coming back from 3-0 down this year, IMO

makes me think of all the Islanders fans booing Tavares.

Would they be in this position had he stayed?

They get the winner of Washington/Carolina and that’s a very winnable series for them, although they won’t have home ice.

No chance. He is too soft defensively. The islanders are one of the best defensive teams in the nhl. Trotz has them playing team hockey on both ends. Most underrated goal tending in the league. Nobody giving them much credit. The problem is that they don’t score enough.

  • yisman

they’ve been ridiculously good defensively all season. Easily #1 in advanced metrics and goals against. 196 goals allowed. Second best was Dallas with 202.

not something anyone expected from the Islanders.

Anyway, the fans should be grateful to Tavares.

He is a perfect fit for the leafs.

The Lightning are tough to figure out for tonight..I think they score a few tonight, but I have to think that Cooper will be changing up the lines quite a bit.

Don’t know how a matchup with the defending champs with no home ice can fall into the “very winnable” category, by any metric.

Because Washington is very vulnerable. No one is scared of the Capitals.

I don’t see what defending champ has to do with it. This season matters, not the fact that they somehow miraculously won a Cup last year.

Very winnable matchup whether they face Washington or Carolina.

The Islanders will be underdogs if they face the Capitals, but it’s certainly very winnable.

The teams are pretty even. They won the same amount of games and their HTH record was 2-2 (with each team scoring 7 goals in the four games).

played a $10 satellite on the main skate and I wish I hadn’t, as it filled

plus I had 400 left over so I ‘upgraded’ from Bobrovsky to Binnington

They took all the shots away from my Wpg guys as well. Conner has 2Gs but no shots. They better fix that one…
