Anyone at more than 49 in the Ironman?

  • TheShaman43

I’m showing 50/75 this morning. But I only count 49 games played, somebody’s off by one (and it’s probably me):

    CAR/NSH – 6 games
    FLA/TB – 6 games
    PIT/NYI – 6 games
    WAS/BOS – 5 games
    TOR/MON – 7 games
    EDM/WPG – 4 games
    COL/STL – 4 games
    VGK/MIN – 7 games

    that’s 45 for round one.

    CAR/TB – 1 game
    NYI/BOS – 2 games
    COL/VGK – 1 game

    that’s four more for 49.

I’m not sure which I’m missing, but my progress bar on the achievements page shows 50/75 for Showdown Ironman.

I’m also at 49 and positive I haven’t missed a game. I wonder if one of the CGY/VAN games counted towards the playoff Ironman?

Bingo. I asked support and got:

“some of the Canadian regular-season games counted towards the NHL playoff achievements when other playoff games had already started. While we were not advertising that these regular-season games would count towards the achievements, you did get credit for these games.”

So I guess any games, regular season or not, that were played once the playoffs began were counted towards achievements.

Looks like a MME slate to me! I’ll play the CAR side today. More of like a 60/40 or 65/35 split.

    Go Canes!!!

Can imagine the Canadian media isn’t too happy but then again the Habs got through…

Thanks for doing the legwork. I’m at 53/75 as of right now and couldn’t have been more confused.

I love reading the articles after the leafs collapse every year. Already blocked off my lunch break to read through The Athletic.

As a Jets fan, I’m not sure if I should be cautiously optimisitc or not. On paper the Jets should have no issue with Montreal, but the first round just showed that paper matchups go out the window in the playoffs.

Yeah it’s just funny to me how it seems the blame just keeps being passed along. I haven’t seen any of the articles but imagine it’s more of that.

That series is the one nobody saw coming. Could see it being a “goalie series”. I’d be optimistic as a Jets fan! Especially after we saw what extra rest did for the Avalanche.
