    Beat me to the link!

There was a thread here not too long ago about DFS in casinos/sportsbooks, and I think this article explains why (other than a brief try by Cantor) we’re not seeing DFS in these places.

The legality of DFS certainly is being questioned, and with the shady activity of some sites lately, I suspect some serious scrutiny of DFS is coming up sooner rather than later.

I have to laugh at some of the posts in certain threads here recently…folks fretting about the “future of the industry.” If anyone believes those involved in any suspected shenanigans give a damn about the “future of the industry,” they’re not paying attention. The American way has become to get as much as you can, any way you can, as fast as you can…morals, ethics, legality be damned.

If DFS goes away, those responsible will simply take their profits and move on to the “next big thing.”

This is such a BS article. “Sportbooks have not gotten into DFS because they think it’s unregulated gambling” Haha, what a joke. They don’t give a shit if it’s considered gambling or not. All they care about is the fact that it is taking revenue away from their sports book. And the only thing the gaming board has it’s panties in a wad about is that they would not be able to garner revenue off it because it is not considered gambling. The only thing they like about DFS is they think that it will open up gambling regulation around the country, hence bringing them more money. Howard Stutz of the LVRJ is a Putz.

I can’t believe I’ve been gambling this whole time.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter whether any of us think it’s gambling or not.

Only ones that matter are those who make the decisions based on who sweetens their pockets.

For those who played poker in the past. What happened to money you had on those sites when the laws made it illegal? Were you still able to withdraw? Or were you SOL?

    Rigged like poker stars lol.

    Nice. SOUL +1

DFS is skilled based & “Gambling”, but you can say that about things that are legal such as the stock market. Sports books are just a little jealous and fearful of DFS taking away their action.

I knew poker was coming to an end when I got a deposit in my bank account from “Jim’s Construction Company.” It took me a few days to realize it was the exact amount I withdrew from Fulltilt.
