    Hey guys,

New here. Does anyone have any experience with FantasyAces and their withdrawal times? I requested a $600 payout to PayPal 7 days ago and still have not received it. Their website says 24-48 hours.

I would assume these smaller sites would have a heavier focus on customer service, which is why I chose FantasyAces (along with the smaller GPP games). Apparently not?

MOD NOTE: FANTASYDRAFT PULLS OUT OF ACES DEAL, 1/30: In an official statement from FantasyDraft, the company has said “Unfortunately, because of issues identified during our due diligence, we are unable to purchase the assets of Fantasy Aces. We will continue to provide the best possible daily fantasy experience for our users, and are committed as always to putting our Players First.” We’ll post any additional news as it’s confirmed.

MOD NOTE (Feb 1, 1:53 AM EST): FANTASY ACES HAS FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY Initially reported here.

MOD NOTE (Feb 13, 8:40 PM EST): HUGE NEWS VIA FANTASY DRAFT, REIMBURSING FANTASY ACES PLAYERS Initially reported here.

How are we supposed to know or prove what we are owed if we can’t even access our account history and were given no warning the site was being shut down?

I’m just pissed that I spent time last night doing golf lineups for games that won’t be running.

Hello All. Yes you are correct with the pending news. We cannot release any info yet but it is good news. This has caused a slow down in several areas and we apologize. Stay tuned.

    This was the “good news”?

One complaint and one wish for this:

Complaint: I really don’t like that the way Aces did this. Offering PGA games, including tournaments on Wednesday, probably knowing that they would shut down on early Thursday morning, is not right. Also, not allowing those who played NBA/NHL to see how they did last night sucks. Those of use who play Aces for golf now just wasted a lot of time (I doubt money since I bet it will be returned) on something I would think that they knew for a while may not happen. Also, maybe they couldn’t legally do this, but I would like to have seen them process all withdrawals that were made before this.

Wish: I do hope Fantasy Draft considers the 2 pitcher for MLB, 2 QB for NFL, and PGA scoring from Aces. Those kept Aces different and new. I did my first Fantasy Draft PGA lineup last night and it seemed very similar to DraftKings in pricing. Aces had a different scoring than DK/FantasyDraft/DraftDay for PGA, and I hope they keep it that way.

Finally, I hope Fantasy Draft now will use the Aces app.

Fantasy Draft is about to release their app. It is MUCH better than Aces.

So basically you hope Fantasy Draft (who is absorbing Fantasy Aces) becomes Fantasy Aces? I doubt they change any of their contest structures dramatically.

Not necessarily become Aces, but perhaps think about using a couple of the things that people like about aces. It’s no different that when DraftKings bought on DraftStreet or StarStreet: everyone was hoping the things they liked about both sites would be implemented in some way to DraftKings. I don’t think it happened but I can hope. One of the three things would be fine by me but realize the chances of anything changing are low.

Hey Guys, will be posting more throughout the day but this should help answer the important questions:

*Any upcoming contest entries or tickets will be canceled and refunded back to your account. Any pending withdrawals that have not been processed will be refunded back to your account and transferred over the FantasyDraft. Stay tuned for more! – Trent

I hope I get my withdrawal. I got verified last week, won a little on the NFL slate on Sunday, then put in my withdrawal a couple of days ago.

With that said, I wonder if this is the first domino as a result of the FD-DK merger? Some of the smart minds in the industry believe that a strong second option needs to emerge for the pros so they can spread their money around and not dump it all into FK or DD or whatever it’s called.

  • run199

Guess I have to deposit money into DK or FD if I want to play tonight then. Great. Can’t see if I won or not last night, can’t access my funds and have to pony up to play on another site. Fantastic!

  • BKLionKing

This really is a pretty damn pathetic way to handle this. If you want to know how to go about an acquisition, look back to the way DK acquired Draft$treet (RIP). There should be in no way, shape, or form a lack of access to player funds for any period of time. They should either be available for withdrawal or available on Fantasy Draft immediately. No access to my account or history? Especially during tax season? Jesus this is a horrendous way to handle things.

I can’t even log in to Fantasy Aces will the funds in existing accounts be transferred to Fantasy Draft I only had about 150.00 on Aces but money is money.

    Yes.

  • MrFantasy

Not sure I understand this acquisition. I played a lot on Aces and not much on FantasyDraft but I don’t see this increasing their traffic very much.

  • BKLionKing

Are we to assume that the accounts will be automatically created? Or will there be a transfer button a la D$ to DK? Anyone from Aces that can answer this?

    Hey Guys,

We are really excited we were able to come to an agreement with Aces.

We are doing everything in our power to make sure the deal closes quickly to insure as little disruption as possible to players.

What I can tell you is that once the deal closes FantasyAces players can expect the following:

-Your account balance will be tranferred and available on FantasyDraft
-If you are an existing FD player your Aces balance will be credited to your FantasyDraft account
-We will honor your existing bonus balance
-We will honor your member points, which will be converted to FantasyCash and available immediately (100 points = $3.20 in FantasyCash)

We appreciate your patience and will release more detail as it becomes available.

Hopefully the team at FantasyDraft consider the SalaryPro format at FA to add to the FantasyDraft arsenal. It is one of the main reasons 85% of my action is/was played at FantasyAces. I know everybody is anxious about the funds being tied up (and yes I’m affected as well after a decent cash in the $55 tourney last night), but I’ve played at FantasyAces since the beginning and trust that they will get these issues resolved and everybody will have access to their money in a timely manner. Sad to see my favorite DFS site go!!

They were my favorite DFS site as well and I trust they will get them resolved, but that doesn’t make them immune to criticism for how poorly this was handled.

I can’t argue against that BKLionKing. It was definitely shocking to see when I went to look at my account this morning.

Will Fantasy Aces still be sending 1099s for 2016?

  • bradyolson2

Well boys it looks like my days of DFS are finished unless I move out of the State of Idaho. Unfortunately Fantasy Aces was the only site I could play on here in Idaho. First, I lose Draft Street, then Idaho bans DK and FD, now RIP fantasy aces. Can’t a man just play some DFS? Haha but seriously this sucks!

  • kame222

It’s it just me or does it look like they left in the middle of the night like the Colts? They obviously knew this was going down before the big tournament last night, but still let people buy in. Did they tourney just go away with nothing to be paid out? This thing smells awful and of course, as usual, the players are the one to suffer with money being tied up and not having a clue because the site pulled off its best David Blaine impersonation. Not good for the industry as a whole.

How long until it closes, so we know how long the money will be tied up? And will you be honoring withdrawals which are currently pending on FantasyAces? Mine has been pending for 2-3 days.
