Can’t enter any Tokyo Olympics contests in MA unfortunately.

Never felt more of a degenerate then today.. driving 25 minutes to Rhode Island just so I could park in a sketchy Subway parking lot and enter golf contests..

Fortunately, editing your lineup in MA is allowed, just can’t enter the contests here.

This just made me laugh out loud…in a good way. I nominate this for post of the year in this forum.

I don’t miss the days of making the drive to PA border to enter dfs lineups daily. Still have to make the pilgrimage if I want to place any sports bets, though. (Upstate NY)

That’s gonna be the case with a lot of these dudes. But the Japan Tour is legit and he’s familiar with the courses over there.

Going to need to get the Slovenian Rory in some LU’s. This is was the only goal he had and I don’t think he’s going to let it go to waste.

I’m just setting an optimizer rule to include 2 guys that are 9500+ in every lineup (also capturing Casey and Hovland with a few Lowry).

Then you have to decide on the exposures you want of all those guys. It’s weird because the difference between 1st and 2nd is 10 points and the difference between 2nd and 3rd is 2 points and there CANT be a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd because of the medal.

I have no idea the relevance on how someone played 6 years ago applies here.

The 3 medalists aren’t even playing this year. I believe it’s a cost vs. result comparison from 5 years ago.

  • cplatt87

This tournament just seems like an exercise in seeing who can pick the right random 6k scrub that doesn’t completely blow up alongside 5 actual good golfers. I hate it.

Well, I would argue there is a similar disparity between talent of golfers in the field and pricing on DK as there was in the last Olympics.

If the three medalists don’t come from the 9500+ group, I will be surprised.

I see your point though, and I wasn’t trying to draw correlation to the actual golfers just the pricing relative to the ability to win.

Good luck trying to find a forecastable pattern from that.

Amazing that Rose had 31.5 more points than Stenson but only won by 2 shots. 10 points of the difference was the 30 vs 20 for 1st vs 2nd but 21.5 more points must have meant at least 8 more birds or 3-4 birds and couple eagles.

Usually you don’t see a 30+ point disparity unless someone wins by 5-6+ shots

Exactly what “jurisdictions” are OK to play Olympics Golf contests?

In PA it appears I can place bets but I can’t enter contests

I’m in PA and was able to enter DK contests

  • lfn1992

I have zero idea why but my location for my app was completely screwed up. After I entered the EURO Happy Meal in the lobby I was allowed to enter contests again shrug

And yes, Samooja is someone I have my eye on, Such a very weird contest however (no cut, small, highly-volatile pool, COVID, how hard will the pros go, etc)
