Anyone starting to see ownership projections ?

Guessing Hideki is going to be up near the top as is the 4 from Team USA along with a couple others.

Guessing that the PGA Tour players under 7000 (Straka, Sabbs and Norlander) will be the low priced chalk.

It’s always a guess, but when I make a gut lineup in a minute, it’s normally because I spot a few misprices and then fill it up. This week, Vegas, Pereira and Casey really stood out to me.

Hovland, Morikawa and Casey highest owned at the top. Vegas, Pereira and SWK in the middle. Norlander, Straka and Fox down low.

In a 60 person field you are going to have to eat some chalk.

Anyone got insight into Carl Yuan? Looks to be doing well on the KFT

I would assume Si Woo and Sungjae will be up there in ownership due to people chasing the military angle.

Hovland because he is always popular and sub 10k.

Mito and Vegas assuming the majority of DFS players don’t take into account the travel and lack of course prep.

I know this is a totally different tourney than all of us are use to but all my lineups this week start with Hovland..I mean other than Morikawa no one in the 10k is worth their salary..they are just not playing well enough to justify the salary I feel we are just paying for the name and I have to stick to my main rule I never play a golfer after a big win that is why I am not playing Morikawa..so for me its Hovland or bust..

  • monarch

Ive done zero research but if all things are equal for everyone and the course is soaked then I may build SGP stacks….Hughes, IM, Bez. Does that make sense?

Agreed, just would rather not walk into a 25% owned guy that I thought was going to be 10% (and tried to go double the field but in reality I’m not even field avg).

I haven’t fully decided on Morikawa, one thing I keep thinking about with him, he putted lights out in the Open and he is 166th in SG putting, so, I expect a regression.
Of course I guess he could have discovered something before the Open.

This is true, of course. The question is….which do you want to eat.

The one that doesn’t make the 6 most points.

    Top 5
    Hovland
    Morikawa
    Conners
    Thomas
    Xander

Hideki is 12th on my list.

Of the scrubs it goes in this order: Norlander, Straka, Sabbs

Wow, the narrative angle on Sungjae and SWK is way out of whack. I get that they want to win a medal to avoid military service but I’m sure literally every golfer who is there wants to win a medal.

SWK and Sungjae projected among the highest owned too. Happy to pivot off them to other players in similar price ranges.

Probably not Rory M – maybe that plays in his favor with less pressure.

Can’t play this one due to location… bummer!

I’m not worrying about putting. With the soft greens and the guys going pin hunting all 4 days, it’s all about iron play and who can drive 17.

  • lfn1992

If soft greens and iron play are king here, how on Earth can you fade Morikawa, even after his Open victory? Even at 75% concentration he could still medal here, and the dude is simply on fire.

Agreed, but I am still playing right into it lol

  • BrianVT

That last awful performance from Si Woo Later before he quit solidified my fade before this week even arrived. No chance for me.
