So golf apparently is not shut down in Arizona, and there is this thing called the Outlaw Tour.

It has a leaderboard and everything:

    https://outlawtour.bluegolf.com/bluegolf/outlawtour19/event/outlawtour196/contest/1/leaderboard.htm

So there are DFG contests. It is currently Round 2 Showdown.

I think this is the definition of a degen event, but of course I will put a few sheckles on it.

    What’s the weather in Scottsdale?

  • tprokopenko

We have live golf! Looks like DK was a little late, so it’s Round 2 tomorrow.

Covid-19 adjustments: No touching the flags, and no rakes for the bunkers.

Field consists of Alex Cejka vs a random assortment of men. As long as he doesn’t withdraw, as is tradition, surely he clowns this field, right?

However, anything goes on this tour. From the last Outlaw Tour tourney:

At last week’s Verrado Founders Championship, Scotland’s Calum Hill, a 136th-ranked European Tour newcomer, closed with a 4-under par 68 to finish on 15-under 201 for a one-stroke victory over American Chris Korte.

But the big shocker came when 14 players were disqualified for playing off the wrong tee after a tee-box mix-up on a par-3 hole in the first round.

The tee was set up at 204 yards while scorecards showed the hole at 222 yards. The first group to reach the hole played off the wrong tee and others followed before the mistake was caught.

I started at 8,600 and picked the next five after. Woo hoo!

Oh boy. I guess I’ll add this to my NASCAR iracing degen contests.

Do we have any TV coverage ?
    How about shot-tracker ?

Calum Hill isn’t too bad! Too bad he’s not playing this week. I don’t recognize any borderline Euro Q school guys in this field.

No Live scoring. So I guess my boss will be happy but I’ll take it.

Just looked at the field and salaries – only 48 players and I’ve actually played with 2 guys in the field. Now I need to find 4 more and grab some Major Milly tickets !!

It’s going to be awesome to win 10K on this tomorrow !!

Pumped to follow this 😂 as player scores probably won’t update until they are done 9 holes if we are lucky or more likely not until their full 18 is complete.

At least we won’t get any ST trolls 🙄

  • lfn1992

Why yes, I started a Forum golf contest for Outlaw Golf Round 2 Showdown, got a problem with that?

  • Felixxberg

This is some next level degen. But eh, we saw someone win $100K on eNASCAR, so might as well try to hit $10K with real golf!

The contests being Showdown only makes that even more random!

    Who are the two guys?

I would put even money that BIF could pull a T20 in this field at this course

Top 42 maybe but for sure Top 48 🤔

Wonder how many people will play pro Thomas Lehman thinking it’s his Champions Tour dad and former #1 player in the world Tom Lehman. Tom’s other son Sean is playing as well – he is still an amateur.

Exactly what I figured after a little research! Round 1 results and Vegas odds are the only decent sources of info!

  • Felixxberg

Carson Roberts had 3 eagles! It’s highly unsustainable, but I’m playing the hot hand anyway.

He played the 4 par fives in -7 as he birdied the one he didn’t make eagle on.

The four par 5’s measure 578, 501, 500 and 489 so 3 of them would be par 4’s in a PGA Tour event.

Where did you find Las Vegas odds?

Does anyone know whether sneezing and coughing will incur penalty strokes?

TES can bite me, by the way

  • Jeddy3

Outlaw golf not available in NY and Iowa. Never have I been so mad to be grouped with f’ing Iowa 🤦🏻‍♂️

  • whodat2

Where is Squid? With no ST, we are going to need boots on the ground.

You can also look at the season stats. Looks like there have been 9 events, although this is the first for a lot of them, and for some reason a lot of guys in the stats aren’t playing this week. At any rate, I did find a few names that are playing who are in the stats:
