After a challenging TPC course this past week, the Outlaw Tour moves to a more birdie friendly Southern Dunes layout in Maricopa, AZ at the Ak-Chin Casino / Southern Dunes GC complex.

An Outlaw Tour event was played here back in September where 30 players tees it up and a score of -8 was needed to be one of the Top 10 players to make the cut and after 3 rounds the winner was -21 and all 10 cut survivors were -9 or better !

This week’s event has a couple new players including College phenom (and so-far a bust as a pro) Norman “Panda” Xiong 🐼 – for those that don’t know him, he played 2 years at Oregon where he won many NCAA tournaments as well as the historic Western Amateur, finished 2 in US Am qualifying and in 2018 won both the Jack Nicklaus and Haskins awards as the top collegiate golfer. Turning pro in 2018 he played on some sponsorship exemptions in PGA Tour events with very little success and many MCs. He is back grinding and still just 21 years old so we’ll see what the future hold for Panda.

Have Johnson in 5/6, he was my guy I was determined to go heavy on and take take a stand and hope for a big bounce back with, hopefully, lowered ownership. 15%, not bad, compared to some of the other big guns! So far, so good. However, no Arman at all is probably gonna kill any chance to REALLY make some noise. We shall see!

I have Arman/Johnson/Bauman/Hallberg/Triplett/Hofman on FD…The non live scoring for FD is driving me crazy

I have Arman in 2 of 5, Arman/Oda in 1 of those. Going to need some other guys to go low to match. You’re not helping, Bomb Garden.

O for 3 today – M Carlson killed 2 and Funk hurt me enough to kill the other.

I really could of used that from Wheels down yesterday. I need Blake Allen to go low on the back. He’s got 11 for 11 pars right now.

P.S. I see $6,000 replacement Evan Knight is -3. We all coulda had a V8, people!

Wow. Thought I had a couple decent lineups on DK today but just came back to none of my lineups being in the money. Yeesh. Crossing my fingers for my FD lineups ha.

Same. I have a 268.8 DK point lineup that seems pretty good, but all it gets is some coins in the pocket change GPPs.

I don’t think I’ll put up a contest for tomorrow, the 3rd day of showdown for these doesn’t get a lot of interest in my experience. Of course, anyone in the league can put one up.
