Brooks and DJ could play 50% and still contend against this field.

I would tend to agree with this but it just isnt true. If they played at 50% of their best sometimes, why is that?

We have seen them dominate. Looking at Rahm last week….That was domination over the field.!!!

not trying to be a troll, just trying to understand why the studs of golf, who pretty much can do it all (OTT, 2nd shot, scramble, and putt). Dont do it all in lower strength of field events.

Fading both Horses in the Scananavian Mixed was a poor decision!

I had Vaughn Taylor in one of my cores, but swapped him out too much. Still have 3, including my only Jhonny Vegas l.u.

Sungjae needs to go back to living out of hotels. Ever since he bought a house he hasn’t been the same top 25 machine

I wonder if Mom still makes him mow the lawn every week?

True to form. Got him at 0.17% in the $1 SE. Didn’t follow through on my Johnathan Byrd gut play, though, unfortunately. Most of my lineups have an aggregate ownership that is sub-50%. But Patton is tanking one and Stuard is pissing on two.

At least Poston isn’t bad. Ace is just horrendous. This is going to be his 11th MC in his last 14 tournaments.

That “timing stations” approach is used by our national Golf Canada association – a friend of mine got dinged for a penalty in a very similar manner when we played in a Canadian Mid-Amateur.

There was a timing station after 4,9,13 or 14 and again on 18 green. They write down the time when the pin gets put back in the hole and if you are behind, you get warned first then penalties start.

They missed their time-par at the station after the 13th or 14th hole so were warned/notified of a bad time. After putting out on 18, they went to sign their scorecards and were told the pin went in a minute late so they were all getting one shot penalties. They all argued but to no avail – the back story was they were on time or 5 minutes ahead all day and then on the timing hole (13 or 14) a guy in their group lost his ball in the rough so had to go back to the tee and by the time they finished that hole, they were almost 10 minutes behind and got the warning/bad-time then they picked up the pace pretty well and caught back only to have one of them have to spend a couple minutes finding a ball on 18 which led them to being 1 minute behind.

No perfect solution for slow play especially in tournaments where all putts go into the hole and all rules of golf are to be followed but in that timing-station approach, you are screwed if you have a bad/slow hole on the timing hole and weren’t already 5-15 minutes ahead of schedule because there is no time to catch up before getting the bad-time warning or penalty.
