I am over this tournament LOL

    On to the US Open

  • zeeshan2

I can’t believe Glover is this bad

  • ifthethunder

Dang. I’ve been following Satoshi Kadaira for this nine. Thinking “wow, he’s finally getting them to roll in!”

Check my lineups…I guess I must have edited him out of all them last night. Probably for Brain Stuard and such as.

P.S. (Except one. He is in one. Which isn’t cashing because Brooks Koepka, Camilo Villegas and Adam Schenk are all +2.)

Lol not a single birdie. Wow. That is bad.

  • RudyPujols

My Bill Haas lineup is taking on a very Bill Haas identity:
    E, E, E, E, E, +1 (Kisner)

  • someclevername

Pak doing amazing – 2 bogies, 2 doubles & a triple. Holding out hope for another triple to keep it balanced.

    *Ahh, man, he accidentally birdied.

  • RudyPujols

Did I catch a Niner in there, Teddy P?

  • lfn1992

    EVR -6
    Higgo -4
    Hammerin Hank -3
    Poston +1

I was saying same thing. Then looked at cutsweats 1% 6/6. 8%. 5/6. 22% 4/6. at Even par.

  • hbomb57

If it was not on purpose today we know for sure Koepka is playing tomorrow’s round as a practice round staying away from just making the cut.

  • JimKronlund

    71.69 = early
    72.03 = late

  • BIF

6/6 right now is 1-2% across most GPPs
    5/6 is at 7-10%
    4/6 is 22-25%

Lots can change tomorrow as some big ownership at +1 and +2 so if they some of them slide in the %’s go up

Ha ha I just looked too

  • ifthethunder

Way too many players at +2 scattered throughout my lineups. And +3 Rafa. What a day.

Posted a round 2 showdown in the forum. As always, DK puts out the salaries before the round is through…

    player round_2 round_1 full_tournament

    Dustin Johnson 10,500 10,600 11,400

    Brooks Koepka 10,200 10,300 11,100

curious about your looking into the players salary for the showdowns and classic contests.

for myself, I have never done comparisons. Have you found anything that might lead you to any conclusions…..little itch in the back of your brain?

  • timusbr

I did 20 in the birdie this week (it was the only affordable contest that was still first generation).
7 in the cash zone but nothing exciting. My player pool of 24 was split 8-am/16-pm. I was thinking golden thoughts when the afternoon wave went out. Damn…some good some bad. I think BIF has the right of it. This is going to be a bumpy ride tomorrow. a bunch of safe will crash and a bunch of resurrections

305.39% of the ownership in the birdie is currently below the cut line. 260% is my guestimate of more normal. Ive seen 280%. never have I seen a 300%. More than half the ownership needs help

  • mitchsnyderdfw

Judging by the cut percentage numbers after round one, this was the week to MME.

Of course half of my player pool is over par. 🙄

  • JimKronlund

McNeill 80 and Pettersson 78 both WD

Yes, I think DK adjusts the round one salaries based on things beyond just the basic scoring (in showdowns, you don’t worry about making the cut or finishing position points, so the most expensive players tend to get reductions and the cheapest get price increases).

I don’t know if it’s based on their ownership projections, or Vegas odds. (Which tend to move together anyways.) For instance, you know who had the biggest price increase in round 1 last week? KSDT. From 6,100 to 6,800. No one else went up by more than 300.
