I am using the analysis of data to draw a conclusion and ask questions in the alleged scenario (the data is not alleged it is actual data). My views are not to be interpreted as fact but to allow individuals to determine if they feel they are playing a game with integrity or one that is monitoring for violations of entry limits and rules.

Is this a form of circumventing Entry limits and or an alternate form of multi accounting (regardless of if they are actually two individuals)

If two brothers or individuals take 50% of each others winnings and agree to risk the same amount every night (enter the same contests with the same number of entries) is this a violation guidelines/rule. Of note they may not technically be “pooling entry fees” as brother A does not send brother B any money for entry fees they just sum up or net profit at the end of the night and reconcile.

They max enter every gpp mlb contest (for the max entries below 150 they don’t overlap entries (they may also not overlap for 150 but I am not digging through all that data as DK supposedly has a game integrity department that is supposed to be monitoring this stuff).

Let’s look at 9/13 2016 data, the data for 9/6 shows the same as well and we can look at 9/20 data when that’s available: (my guess here it’s the same every day but just taking the Tue slates as that’s the big prize for DK)

MLB $600K Power Hitter ($444, 45 max) – Chipolteaddict 45 entries, papagates 45 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $30K Warning Track ($150, 3 max) – Chipolteaddict 3 entries, papagates 3 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $5K Deep Mini Moonshot ($3, 50 max) – Chipolteaddict 50 entries, papagates 50 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $10K Slider ($3, 3max) – Chipolteaddict 3 entries, papagates 3 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $150K Payoff Pitch ($27, 150 max) – Chipolteaddict 150 entries, papagates 150 entries (I am not digging through 150 to determine overlap or not, other people are supposedly paid to do this)

    Oh the statement is clear.

Team up, use a projection site who may or may not keep your data, tell so said hypocritical projection site to pull 1 of the many files you downloaded which they may or may not keep on their server, send DK your wire info, max enter the quarter arcade.

again, you just go to automatically believing they downloaded many files lol

Seriously why is DK taking so long to respond??? Not only does the community deserve a response, we deserve a honest and clear set of rules so every player actually knows what they’re playing. High stake players playing low stakes is despicable especially after a milly maker win is just disgusting. RG needs to put pressure on DK considering they represent the community and the community wants this issue addressed. Its just 100% pure greed for any high stake player to enter in low stakes games, you dont see mlb pro’s having to face triple a and double a teams and same for every other profession.

Obviously, DK did nothing. Papagates is in afternoon slates for MLB today.

I’m shocked—Its a joke but the joke is on the beginning and mid-level players.

I’m so glad DK gave us the clarification on this the industry has been begging for before opening up the flood gates again.

If these guys did nothing wrong and are completely cleared, don’t you think it is important to come out with a statement? Don’t they realize the optics of their silence when they know people are waiting for them to weigh in?

DK is proving once again what they are….money driven rake whores who care ZERO about 98% of their customer base. Scum.

And than when the s-it hits the fan, they will ask us to e-mail our AG’s and representatives about how great DK is. And the funny thing is we will because
    we love DFS

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I am 50-50 right now on withdrawing my money on Monday after the NFL slate and reduce my action to a few yahoo lineups

I do have a life and don’t need to get upset about this crap

I hear you—-I withdrew from DK 2 weeks ago and will never play there again. I play on the smaller sites now, as I have no delusion of winning a MM. I;m doing really good on the smaller sites, and although there are some pros playing low stakes, not as many as FD and DK

I’m one of the people who believes they did/are working together and to be honest why wouldn’t they. These guys are brothers so I’m sure they trust each other in a financial partnership, they have a huge bankroll and are very good at DFS. Working together and not against each other is the smart thing to do and since its clear the sites are either ill-equipped or simply do not care to seriously enforce any form of fair play, they took advantage of it.

That’s exactly how I see this.

  • dude_abides7

So now all these guys (any high volume “team”) needs to do is to make sure that they sprinkle a few “throw away” overlapped LU’s into the mix so it gives the impression they didn’t coordinate their lineup entries? Then DK can continue to look the other way.

What a friggin joke. They continue to completely avoid transparency here. A pretty serious accusation has been made here against these two users and others. At the very least DK should have made a statement to CLEAR them of any wrong doing. Simply saying nothing creates a horrible optic, further entrenches the skeptics belief that DK is in league with these high rollers and adds to further stain the industry. This is horrible.

Honestly, for me this is not about whether or not PG and CA colluded anymore. It is about the pure disdain DK has for their player base that they think they can just move on, business as usual. Hey DK, you can ignore your users….that’s fine, but I guarantee that you won’t be able to ignore the govt when they come to shut you down.

The player base in this industry should demand senior level changes at this company before they cause the whole house of cards to tumble down due to their incompetence. This is literally sickening.

They are both playing their winning tickets in the $100,000 NFL Survivor in today. So DK hasn’t addressed anything.

It’s frankly an embarrassment for DK that there was no further clarification. I guess the jokes on us and especially Rayofhope for being honest. Oh well.

  • Olhausen

If you guys don’t like Dk then you have to start talking with your wallets. I personally don’t have the same harsh feelings that a lot of you do in here. But I have seen some things I don’t totally like over time so I have moved more of my action over to aces. As someone else stated there aren’t near as many sharks and I’ve actually had some decent wins in just under a month of playing over there.

Why are so many people still playing on DK anyway? They have by far the least user friendly website and their app isn’t any better. I still play because I have season long league friends that refuse to open any other accounts but the majority of my play is on FD. Everything is so much easier to use there. Start voting with your dollars and go elsewhere.

I don’t think it would suprise anyone if one of these “brothers” was found hanging out with Lennay Kekua.

Here are a few facts I unearthed while looking in to the millionaire maker regarding chipotle addict and papagates that they won. I’m confident nothing will be done but RG members should be aware.

    Baseline stats:

Of the 101 who max entered (excluding the brothers) no one else of this subset had 100% exposure to SV

of the 300 who entered 50 lineups or more (excluding the brothers) no one else of this subset had 100% exposure to SV

of the 172,292 who entered more than 1 lineup (excluding the brothers) 0.51 % (883 entries) had 100% exposure to SV. 92% of the 883 entries are people who only entered 2-4 lineups

While no one is saying you can’t discuss plays with people; to say these two acting independently to both max enter SV compared to the baseline data proves false.

    1) It’s not a requirement to act independently. No one is arguing they act completely independently. If you agree that it’s okay to discuss plays, then how can any of this be problematic?

    2) You have not compared this to a baseline. That would require figuring out the likelihood that two GPP max-enterers would both have 100% exposure to a player while the field has a low exposure. I agree that this is unlikely but I’m sure it happens fairly regularly. For example, among all other pairs of max-enterers, what’s the next closest deviation from the field?

Your point relies on the assertion that this kind of ownership distribution is unusual. But how unusual is it? That’s the only baseline that matters. Is it something that’s never happened before? Or are there 15 other pairs of max-enterers that also agree on a player and disagree with the field, whether by coincidence or not?

  • rainbowtroutman

I quit Dk after this.Do the same if you feel DK sucks

  • Ppannl

    @hendog said...

    0%;

No other person who max entered had 100% exposure to the same player as someone else who max entered and had 100 percent exposure to that player.
