I am using the analysis of data to draw a conclusion and ask questions in the alleged scenario (the data is not alleged it is actual data). My views are not to be interpreted as fact but to allow individuals to determine if they feel they are playing a game with integrity or one that is monitoring for violations of entry limits and rules.

Is this a form of circumventing Entry limits and or an alternate form of multi accounting (regardless of if they are actually two individuals)

If two brothers or individuals take 50% of each others winnings and agree to risk the same amount every night (enter the same contests with the same number of entries) is this a violation guidelines/rule. Of note they may not technically be “pooling entry fees” as brother A does not send brother B any money for entry fees they just sum up or net profit at the end of the night and reconcile.

They max enter every gpp mlb contest (for the max entries below 150 they don’t overlap entries (they may also not overlap for 150 but I am not digging through all that data as DK supposedly has a game integrity department that is supposed to be monitoring this stuff).

Let’s look at 9/13 2016 data, the data for 9/6 shows the same as well and we can look at 9/20 data when that’s available: (my guess here it’s the same every day but just taking the Tue slates as that’s the big prize for DK)

MLB $600K Power Hitter ($444, 45 max) – Chipolteaddict 45 entries, papagates 45 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $30K Warning Track ($150, 3 max) – Chipolteaddict 3 entries, papagates 3 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $5K Deep Mini Moonshot ($3, 50 max) – Chipolteaddict 50 entries, papagates 50 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $10K Slider ($3, 3max) – Chipolteaddict 3 entries, papagates 3 entries no lineup overlap

MLB $150K Payoff Pitch ($27, 150 max) – Chipolteaddict 150 entries, papagates 150 entries (I am not digging through 150 to determine overlap or not, other people are supposedly paid to do this)

why has neither one of these players (Chipolteaddict or papagates) chimed in on Mphst18 calling them out? If it was me being accused of something like this i’d b FIGHTING MAD!!! Their silence says A LOT

Papagates did respond, so congrats on that statement.

Also, most DFS players do not go on these forums. 90% of it is bitching so I don’t blame them either. I know my presence on here over the last 3 years has gone from active to checking in once every 7-10 days and that will surely decrease even more.

You might want to read the whole forum before falsely accusing people about things.

Olhausen hasn’t posted in this thread yet. He must be hiding something.

You’re looking at it wrong imo. These threads are a great place to get a laugh and let off steam after a bad night of DFS

Heres my 2 cents and im a nobody.

My brother is my best friend, we both play dfs on fd and dk. I play a much larger volume than him. We get together to watch mlb a couple times a week. I always want him to come over before lock time to help research. We bounce ideas off each other and sometimes we will run the same lineups and some nights we completely disagree on our picks, we run a good bit of hth against each other as well. To me this is what dfs is all about, playing with friends, against friends and trying to make a little bit of scratch while doing so.

I have no problem with what they are/arent doing. If the difference in someone taking down a gpp with several hundred thousand entries is entering 150 vs 300 entries is really that big of advantage then I think you are mistaken. Lets face it, these guys are good, and if you any of yall were beating them on a regular basis would these threads even exist? I personally like playing the three mans and mini home runs on fd. I actually will look for a three man with gates or chipotle in them because i want to beat them. I dont get mad when I don’t. These guys put in the work and it shows. If all it takes to win a gpp is doubling your entries then why didnt yall do it before the lower limits came out?

If you are so personally against whatever “colluding” you believe these guys are doing than dont play multi enter gpps. Theres plenty of action in the single entries. Trust me they do good in those as well. Ive played every slate every day of this mlb season on fd and so have they. Ive got some gates/chipotle bucks in my bankroll as they do mine. I personally enjoy playing them for a couple reasons, 1. you can learn from their lineup construction 2. it feels pretty damn good to beat them, haha.

All in all, either get better or dont play them. If they were to start losing (which isnt going to happen) then this convo would never happen.

I have nothing but respect for them. And btw Congrats on the milly maker this week papa! Great lineup!

Explain how this isn’t an advantage and colluding? https://twitter.com/fantasysalary/status/780247289218695172

    my 2 cents worth,
got tired of reading this after page 2. Never play 3 man games. possibilities of meeting unscrupulous people are much greater.
I play 10 man games for $1 and $2. I see both of these guys all the time. interesting that i dont remember games they play together. doesnt matter because they finish last as well as first. They are both good players.

I believe that more entries help out in Gpp’s. but you still need to pick the right lineups. I dont care if they are in collusion on high volume GPP’s.

The so called experts are paid by DK/FD/RG…….anyone with money in the industry. Several years now they all have had weekend packages where the best all meet for fun in the sun and a little DFS action. I dont know who they are. I would guess that 95% of people that play DFS only know the screen name if that. But all you sharks know each other. Surprised that you are not talking about a 10 man DFS collusion team.

If any of this is true, and i highly think so. Just leave the poor smucks $1 entry fee alone. Seriously, these guys must be real bored to play the waiting game on signup for $1.

Well, this is quite interesting (% exposure in the milly maker for chipotleaddict/papagates 150 lineups each):

So with this ideology if I would have entered 150 and my brother entered 150 we automatically win the milly maker? Good to know ill try it next week.

In reality I entered 5 entries, one cashed. I lost 62$. Am i mad because papa won? Not a bit, i’m mad because I didnt play the right lineup.

So having 300 total lineups between the 2 having the same core players with rotating QBs and 0 overlapping lineups is not advantage?

  • xplorin16

Last time I checked I had the freedom to enter the tournaments, three mans and hth that I choose. No one is forcing you to play against them.

Deposit more money and play more lineups if that’s what you think it takes to win gpps. Just know, more milly makers have been won by single bullets than mass entries.

  • xplorin16

Having 2 lineups versus 1 lineup is an advantage. Though it does not guarantee a win. This horse has been beat enough. Get better or stop playing.

  • tommythebull123

it amazes me how pappagates and chipotleaddict are able to get away with cheating runing the same core and having no overlap its a compelte joke how they can get away with cheating makes me so sick they just put another black spot on DFS its not the fact tht they won the milly its the fact that they break DK guildlines and get away with it bc they pay a big rake. and if the rest of us did that we would be banned. give me your thoughts below

The DFS community is entitled to compete in tournaments where everyone plays by the same rules. That should be a basic fact everyone should agree with. Your response of “just don’t play if you don’t like others circumventing rules” is nonsensical.

The issue in my mind has always been “are they actually circumventing rules”, and the evidence is really starting to paint a picture that it’s likely they are.

    DK Community Guidelines:
    Unacceptable Behaviors
Group play behavior designed to gain an unfair advantage over others
Example A: You and 2 of your friends coordinate the lineups you build each night and coordinate which contests you enter using them.
Example B: You and a group of friends collaborate in NFL contests to each draft different QBs and WRs, to guarantee you aren’t competing as directly with each other.
Entering the maximum number of entries in a contest, type of contest, or event, and having a 3rd party, regardless of their relationship, put in additional entries for you.
Example: A contest has a maximum of 10 entries. You put in 10 entries but want to play more so you give your brother 10 additional lineups to play in the contest.

Looks like people have already reached out to a few media outlets so regardless of anyone’s personal opinions, this is about to get thrust into the spotlight..
