Pretty busy weather for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but condensed tee-times will make it difficult to capitalize on. Here’s a daily breakdown of what to expect.
Thursday – Dry with light winds, great golfing weather all day.
Friday – Increasingly ugly. Winds will start at around 10mph early, increasing to 10-20mph sustained winds in the late morning. Mid-late afternoon hours will bring the strongest wind, likely 20+mph sustained winds, with gusts near 30mph. Rain chances also pick up in the afternoon, especially the late afternoon through the evening.
Saturday – Isolated showers, winds much more manageable.
Sunday – Dry, increasing winds late.
Overall – The worst timeframe here is Friday afternoon, with winds really picking up and staying strong all afternoon, and rain more likely in the later afternoon. The earlier golfers get out on the course on Friday the better, though everyone will be dealing with wind-issues regardless.
