Split the Weekend Club Twirl for $3,500 with Stlcards. No Dunzor but I’ll take it

I started the day in 1st…fell as low as 60th at about 3:00 this afternoon and finished the day in 4th for my biggest every DFS score of 40K!!! (not bad for winning my way in on $27 of sattys)

whew, that was a sweat. You cant hate being in first or near the top in DFS Golf. It is unusual for that person to maintain the lead for another day. It really sucks!!! I mean you looked at a possible quarter Million Dollar win for about 12-18 hours.

I looked in on you this afternoon and felt…Damn. I am so glad you made it back into the top 5.
FYI, you finished DFL in the 10 event Summer Championship :)

Did you win the ticket from our league qualifier? Now that would be a great league story…$9 turned into 5 figures.

Haha that’s cause I only entered the first week or two and then forgot it was running and didn’t enter the rest, though i doubt I would’ve placed very well since I’ve had a rough couple of weeks until Bridgestone and this one.

No its wasn’t from a forum satty, it was from a Rd4 Showdown satty last week at Bridgestone. They ran 3 different $9 ones so I entered a unique lineup in each and won one of them for my $555 ticket.

I’ll catch up a bit later but congrats Dunzor! I’m not sure who else won or was sweating but not a bad week. I at least min cashed my $150 ticket largely thanks to RCB today. I would have liked more but I’ll take it and shut up.

On the some of the FedEx events.

Will be interesting to see if Scott plays next week at the Wyndham as he is entered. Other big names are Webb, Stenson, Niemann, Rafa, Garcia, and Berger.

I hope he does so he can suck up some ownership. Doubt he performs in a birdie fest.

I will have some interest in berger. He looked pretty good this week. Interested to see pricing and ownership projections.

Just a heads up on berger, he did play well, but he also said in an interview on Thurs/Fri that he’s been dealing with a wrist injury that he’s been playing through since it’s major / playoffs season which might explain his poor overall results this year and would make me wary of playing him in a non-playoff event unless he’s not yet qualified for the playoffs

Dunzor winning the bux and handing out hot takes. I will monitor the berger situation. It’s possible he laid it all on the line this week.

    Incoming WD?

    Incoming WD?

I’m thinking that might be the case since he probably got a nice chunk of FedEx cup points this week to move up comfortably inside the top 100 and into the first two playoff events. We’ll have to wait and see but unless he’s very underpriced I probably won’t take that risk

Berger is 83rd in FedEx points. He will play the first tourney for sure and probably will still have enough points to stay in T100 for second. I will have my fair share of Garcia next week…I feel he is close to getting back in form and can T10 next week. Missed the cut on the line his last two tourneys and he is striking well while gaining strokes T2G. Just needs a good putting week. He will not be owned.

Have you/other’s determined how you are going to score the happy meal next year? New season will be here soon and traffic on the forum will die once football starts.

Same, but as an even bigger NFL nut…

PLEASE dont take mine/ ours references with any meaning. The League belongs to those that participate. Jim Kronlund started it, He is commissioner. I dont think he intended it to be a lifetime job but it would be wrong of me to speak for him. my guess is, he believes its belongs to everyone.

Well the contest – The Happy Meal falls under my ownership I guess.
Milwaukee bucks (Aporter) started doing the spreadsheet to keep track. What you ask, He should be the first to reply with his intentions. (maybe he doesn’t want to do it anymore? already has plan?)

I remember some of the proposals and (surprise) I gave it some thought and have my idea’s.

I would like to take control of the Happy Meal scoring and offer a year end prize if no one has objections (Tim?)

Something we can talk about anyway…. we still have some time.

  • timusbr

What do you guys think if I start an NFL league. My sole purpose is to expand the Happy Meal and see if the NFL thread will embrace a $1 contest. I then will keep totals and have year long standings.
