My first time starting a thread.

COURSE: Golf Club of Houston (Tournament), 7,441 yards, par 72. The 2005 Rees Jones design, with David Toms consulting, earns praise for its ability to replicate Augusta National’s setup in the final days leading to the Masters. Built across a wooded landscape in Houston’s suburbs, Jones took care to preserve the natural lakes and wetlands throughout the layout. Since landing the pre-Masters slot on the schedule in 2007, though, club officials have done well to deliver shaved banks, collection areas around the greens and a Stimpmeter reading of 13 or more.

FIELD WATCH: FedExCup leader Jimmy Walker, Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed – Texans all in the top 15 of the Official World Golf Ranking – head up a field that includes 15 of the top 30 in this week’s computations. … World No.2 Henrik Stenson is the highest ranked in the lineup, joined by No.6 Spieth, No.8 Sergio Garcia and No.10 Justin Rose. … Anirban Lahiri, twice a European Tour winner this year, and former British Open champ Darren Clarke are among several international players using Houston as a Masters tuneup.

For $5700 on Victiv? I had him in 3/5 lineups until I checked the tee times.

  • y2mulder

I want an endless loop of Kokrak missing 10 foot birdie putts today.

    Seriously, it would be endless.

It’s too bad these things don’t only last one day, got a couple LUs top 10 in GPPs lol

There are so few notables in real danger of missing the cut I’m guessing this is going to be one crazy weekend. As for my teams Danny Willet is a freaking toeanchor in alot of my lineups and Steele and Streb are kinda dicey right now too. I have a few luckbox gpp lineups that look tasty. I don’t think many 5/6 lineups will be worth much this weekend so need Willet to shoot 68 to get to -3 which should be safe this weekend.

I agree with you on needing 6/6 making the cut to cash on DK and DD.

Top 3 owned golfers in danger of missing the cut right now are……

    1. Kokrak 2. Ortiz 3. Willet

I own some of each of them but Kokrak is in all three of my Victiv lineups.

My lineup on victiv with kok has Johnson Wagner and he went bogey free 3 under today so at this point I would be fine with kok missing the cut.

There is no way to watch tomorrow morning online is there?

I follow golf pretty closely, and I have no idea who John Peterson is.

this will sound a little dickish but you obviously don’t follow golf that closely…JP isn’t a world beater (yet) but he’s a solid DFS play…and a good twitter follow.

to cash? 5/6 with 3 top finishers will easily cash on DK, I have no idea about DD (don’t play). There’s never been a tournament I’ve seen where 5/6 couldn’t cash. 4/6 with 3 top 10’s and top 20 will typically cash.

  • pacochu

Kokrak will determine if I have any chance of cashing this week. He needs to step it up.

Day 2 has begun…looks like some low scores so far….-1 cut line won’t hold.

I agree, with scores this low, we could see a -2 or -3 cut line

I think -3 might be a little generous but my prediction is -2.

These Hole Outs are getting crazy, Lee Westwood had a 100 yard bunker shot on 10 for Eagle….Some nasty spin on the ball.

It looks like Henley would have been a better morning pivot than Willett – both had nearly identical Victiv prices and Pinny odds (actually Henley was slightly later) . Not sure why I didn’t consider him other than lack of consistency, but Willett hasn’t exactly done much on the PGA tour. Food for thought for next time.

henley hasn’t missed a cut this year. the better pivot at this point would have ben willett to stefani on victiv.

I just don’t see many decent names that look like they’ll miss….That 5/6 better be a monster.

Hoping this isn’t the case… I’ve got 5 solid players w/ Ortiz looking like dead money… kinda frustrating!!

  • LinkSinc

Kokrak making a charge! Of course when Stefani is playing so well and I faded him unlike most people that hurts.
