    Hello fellow DFS players!

I usually play exclusively on DK, but I was wondering if I should try and play on multiple sites. Seems as if different sites have different formats, lineup options, bonuses, rewards, etc. I would like to hear feedback from players who consistently play on multiple sites. What are your experiences like? Also what sites do you specifically enjoy? Is playing on multiple sites more profitable? Are there certain sites that have less “sharks”? How many different sites can you handle? We all know DK and FD are the two biggest, but what about some of the others? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Q: Is playing on multiple sites more profitable?
A: If you are a profitable player, yes. If not, no. Suddenly playing on more than one site isn’t going to make you a winner if you don’t have a good lineup building process in place.

Q: Are there certain sites that have less “sharks”?
A: IMO, no. Every site has sharks just like every site has bad players.

Q: Also what sites do you specifically enjoy?
A: I really don’t like to stray away from the big 2 + yahoo. I’ve got no complaints about sites like fantasyhub and such, but I like to play on the sites where I think the most rec players are which will give me the greatest chance to profit.

Q: How many different sites can you handle?
A: That’s dependent upon the person and the sport. Someone could easily handle 4-5 sites for football and struggle to handle 2-3 for basketball due to last minute news.

All in all I would say test the different sites out, see which site allows you the flexibility you like the most for lineup construction and you’ve been the most consistent on and stick with that until you’re comfortable to expand further.

Thanks man. I am a serious, but certainly not a pro player. I have played DFS on and off since last year. I have the most experience with the nba. Was pretty successful last year. Won enough to withdraw a couple hundred bucks. How do you like Yahoo? I won $450 playing season long NFL with Yahoo, but haven’t explored them for DFS yet. I was reading the reviews for the different sites here on RG and read that Yahoo does not offer matching deposits. Seems to be the only one that doesn’t.

DermDerm did a good job answering your questions but I would just add that the smaller sites offer more in terms of rewards. Draftpot gives a nice deposit bonus that is essentially 80% rakeback, FantasyHub has an equally amazing bonus in addition to many other promotions and rewards. FantasyAces has a monthly wins bonus and frequent reload bonuses.

Different sites have different formats and the games are smaller but easier to win.

Besides DK I play on Fantasy Draft. Their scoring systems are similar so your research for DK would be sufficient. Fantasy Draft pays out 25% minimum contests, only a 10% rake, and has a multi entry cap meaning that the pro’s aren’t going to be able to just go in and buy up all of the entry’s. Their lineups are flexible too which I find great because it doesn’t pigeon hole me into picking certain players based on position. For example for an NBA lineup you pick G, G, G ,F/C, F/C, F/C, UTL, So if you want to have Wall, Ish, Russ, and Kyrie you can.UTL. A few weeks ago my buddy won one of their contests to go meet TY Hilton and he took me with. They do a bunch of those contests where you can meet different players. Give it a try.

Yes, it seems some of the smaller sites have great rewards/bonuses to differentiate and have a competitive edge to try and compete with the big boys (DK & FD). I find this refreshing, and maybe need to try some of them. Thanks MrFantasy!

Fantasy Draft does sound compelling. Not only do they pay out the highest % for GPPs, but also seem to have the most roster flexibility for the NBA. Thanks for the feedback. That’s awesome that you got to meet T.Y Hilton. Congrats to your buddy lol.
