So I have lost more than I want to admit due to late scratches after lock or in game injuries. A buddy of mine told me about a website called PlayLine.com and I have only been playing for a few days now (4 to be exact) and have won some money. It is a completely free website currently but I guess in the future you will be able to buy into contests similar to other DFS sites. The thing about this site though is injuries or late scratches do not kill your lineup. I just wanted to pass the site along in case anyone was interested since it is currently free and the contests are very basic. You just predict stats for a select few players (and if one of those players get hurt or are a late scratch everyone has them in their lineup so nobody is crushed by it like now).

IT looks interesting predicting outcomes. But need it more for android.

  • claydoe52

I do know they are working on an Android App, but I currently play on my phone by simply going to the website through my web browser and it works perfectly.

I’m a member there but quit playing. They’ve constantly lied about PayPal availability. I didn’t know it was possible for a company to be run worse than DK and FD but playline proved me wrong. They opened in late August and I joined early semptember while the site was still fairly new and my dk bankroll was low. They said they would introduce paid games and PayPal withdrawals on October 17 for opening night of the NBA. They then pushed that date back a few weeks for Michael Bisping’s (Playline founder) fight vs GSP. Again, they lied and pushed it back a few weeks. After a few weeks, guess what happened? Yup, you guessed it, they pushed the deadline back. It’s been two months since the original deadline and they only now just introduced paid games. Oh and btw, there is still not PayPal withdrawal.

I’ve blocked them on twitter for their incompetency and cult like following (people praising them for winning “free money” that they can’t withdraw, especially when its like 50 cents lol).

They’re based in Canada which might have something to do with the hold up but they keep on changing their excuse. First, they blame “PayPal compliance” and then they blame “the banks”. Add in the fact that they’re not even verified on twitter like FD, DK, fantasydraft and I’m just done with them.

oh okay, I will play the free stuff than.

I’m also suspect that they’re offering paid games without the ability to withdraw so users can lose money and playline can recover some of their losses. I will keep my $185 balance until PayPal is allowed.

  • manBEAST

I have received two checks from them, yeah the paypal thing is annoying, but I have the patience to wait for a check in the mail so can’t complain about free money. I notice they do have paid games as of today, but it says I’m ineligible based on my location so like other start-up sites they have some bumps in the road as I’m in a legal state. If you have a balance over $50 you can contact support to request a check.

I like the concept as I have played most DFS sites that have ever existed, not sure about the sustainability of giving away free cash and the social media account is really annoying, but it is what it is got to make my every week withdrawal from somewhere. The millionaire dollar bonus thing is kind of a joke as if you did hit all the numbers exactly you would be one lucky SOB so not something to focus on. Having said that I have had nothing but good things to say about support minus having to wait for a check in the mail. We’ll see if they are in it for the long haul. Mobile site on android works just fine.

  • Trillexx

how long did it take to get a check? could you cash it?

  • claydoe52

Yeah you can withdrawal money after you have hit $50 at any time, they send you a check. It takes a little time, but like you said they started in August. It has been 4 months and they are a brand new company. Give them a little time before completely burying them.

You are clearly lying (in other NBA post) about having no tie to this company. You just started playing there 4 days ago but you can confirm that you receive a check if you cash out?

  • claydoe52

I never said I had received a check at all. I am saying what has been stated by their staff and people have documented receiving checks thus far on twitter. I myself have not as I am currently below the $50 cash out amount.

  • KindGuy

Get back to me when they offer PayPal like every other DFS site.

  • claydoe52

I completely agree that until PayPal is up and running it will be very hard to compete….no disagreement here

  • manBEAST

It took a couple weeks and it is a Canadian money order or banknote, I was able to cash it on the my bank phone app no problems.

I checked the site out when Gundacker showed Riddick Bowe in his DM’s on his video (he apparently dm’s a lot of touts). Gun warned me to stay away and I should have.

Their twitter seems full of RT’s of fake accounts and not having paypal is extremely suspect.

Looks like a lot of smoke and mirrors.

Well, someone just the million dollar perfect bonus last night.

    Let’s see what happens.

It appears that an ass raping has happened. Where is that claydoe52 guy that came in here touting the website?

Claydoe52 sounds like the company spokesperson hired to post crummy commercials. “A buddy of mine told me”. Yeah right. Anyway I have been playing on there for a week now and have won over 50 dollars. I have already played some buy in contests but after having read this I no longer will. Only will play free since it now seems the site is trying to recoup it’s payouts by having you pay back in, as a user here shed light on, thank you. The thing is if I had lost my free money I was totally ready to deposit because I like the ease of the contest entries as you only have to predict player stats for that days games. But now that I know there is no paypal and not friendly toward payouts I am definitely going to slow my roll. Bank roll that is.

Just withdrew my whole balance today. It’s been half a year since the original date for PayPal implementation- the first day of the NBA season- and there is still no paypal. By the way, the regular season ended a couple of weeks ago.

It also appears the OP hasn’t visited this site since posting about playline. Coincidence?

Did they send you your money? I was wondering since I just withdrew my whole balance today

I’m so glad I found this discussion thread! I emailed them requesting cashing out some of my winnings and also about cashing out via PayPal. This is some of what I received…“At the current time, we can only process withdrawals via check – however, we’re in the process of integrating PayPal – which should be in place in the next few weeks.”. Next few weeks, huh? Prior to reading this thread, I was going to just wait, but now am having them send me a check.

therazor30 – did you receive your check yet?

I like to piggyback off of what elementasrat. I started back in 11/2017 and I stop playing this past February. I won $150 within the time I won but I was too busy playing FD. Upon asking for my winnings via email this is the response from Playline:

#1 I see here your check is marked for pickup by our couriers on Monday – though please note, per my note below and our Terms of Use, free play users are entitled to a maximum $50 withdrawal on free play winnings every 30, 45 or 60 days depending on paid game play – so I will be adjusting your account accordingly.

    Thanks!
    PlayLine Support Team

#2 All FREE MONEY checks are sent via regular mail, tracking is not available.

Just to clarify, PlayLine is not a ‘gambling’ site, but rather, a fantasy sports platform that offers a game of skill. We are continually working with Paypal and do hope to have it soon. While we’re on the subject of differences between our platform and others, I should highlight that PlayLine is the ONLY site that not only offers sizeable FREE contests every day, but takes it one step further, and offer FREE MONEY contests to users located in regions not even eligible to participate in paid contests. Why, you might ask? Because we want ALL users to enjoy our game, even if we’re unable to procure a profit from them. Sorry if this has been an inconvenience to you, as we’re always working towards getting better.

    Regards,
    PlayLine Support Team

I am still wondering how long it takes to get a check? I won over 50 with the free contests. I emailed them on Sunday and have not heard from them as of Wednesday.
