    Position Expectancy Factor

This is a new metric that I have been working on lately:

Hopefully this is something that you guys find interesting and maybe can help out the Grinders community moving forward

      RG Overall Ranking

    • Ranked #79

      RG Tiered Ranking

Looks pretty solid. Any chance you wanna elaborate on what the numbers mean? I’m confused at why the Top TE numbers are 3.5 while the other positions are in the high teens or 20s

  • WhatTheDeuce

Numbers are relative to the aFPA. Since TE score less, the aFPA is lower, hence a lower PEF.

I have been thinking about scaling it uniformly, but not sure if that’s necessary.

Say you have a coin flip at your flex between a Bills RB and a Raiders WR. If the Bills RB PEF ranking vs their opponent is considerably higher that the Raiders WR PEF ranking vs theirs, go with the Bills RB.

Going forward, I will likely implement the rankings in the table, to quickly consider flex situations.

Obviously this is one of many tools to help make decisions, and few decisions will ever be cut and dry, especially when comparing across positions.

Not sure it is over thinking but when deciding between two players, who on first glance look equal, it can be a deciding factor.
