Hi guys, some of you may know me and some do not. I am the founder and developer of fantasycruncher.com.

As it turns out papagates and chipotleaddict are both users of fantasycruncher, and used FC to create the lineups that have since caused the controversy and accusations of collusion due to their success. We were not aware they were users until last night, when Cory Albertson of Rayofhope contacted me and asked if I had heard about them and if they were users. When I searched for Crowley in our customers, I found they were both customers and had individual accounts.

At this point, I thought wow, maybe we have some valuable info that will make it clear if colluding occurred. I think I, like many others, assumed the worst. However I am really happy to report I found evidence of the contrary.

We keep a simple log in our database anytime someone logs in, which includes their account and IP address. Both of these guys login from different locations at different times. In our database I can see they uploaded separate sets of projections.

At this point I contacted Martin(papagates) and Tom(chipotleaddict) and let them know I could be able to help them with any data if necessary. After talking to them, I was able to see the same evidence they produced for draftkings including screenshots of what they produced using FC. I am able to match that with our server logs and their entire story points overwhelmingly towards they were not colluding.

    • They each have their own account on Fantasycruncher
    • They logged in from different locations at different times
    • They used different projections to produce their lineups
    • They downloaded seperate 150 lineup files

Ha all type of privacy violation laws broken.

dude…what are you talking about. This isn’t healthcare. You sign up for a site, there are no laws protecting your privacy as to whether or not you are a member. And they consented to releasing the info anyways. You can search rotogrinders and see if someone is a member. The fact that the first post on a post trying to clear up the collusion is someone complaining about another potential issue just shows the state of paranoia in these forums right now.

I havent followed this “scandal” closely but the OP’s post was laughable as to the reasons he gave for exonerating PG and CA. As to privacy violations, everything comes down to what the Fantasy Cruncher terms and conditions stated. If there were strict privacy rights, PG and CA may have waived their rights and allowed the OP to post his info.

Not sure in which thread to post this.

I am asking: “What kind of strong evidence does a casino need to kick you out and ban you if they suspect you are counting cards?”

Granted players do not win DK’s money, they win other people’s money. But doesn’t that make it even more important that there is some rules enforcement?
My biggest issue with this is Dk statement that the lineups were “flagged”
Assuming this is true, they should have been zeroed and entry fees refunded well before the end of the slate.

He was under $4k and the lead back. He was pretty much a lock to make value at that price. I had heavy exposure to him and so did a lot of people.

100% or did you say hmm he’s gonna be chalk maybe I will take one of my 300 lineups and play sproiles at the same price.

As George Costanza said “This thing is like an onion: The more layers you peel, the more it stinks!”

Just to be frank, this thread imo made it worse for CA and PG situation than before because it just adds more fuel to the fire and proves nothing imo.

Your gto people would be up in arms and say even all the more reason to fade him unless as a team we decided together to have 100 percent exposure to him

Have a lot of exposure to someone and 100 percent was max entering is much different

The forum created to call out the situation regarding CA an PG was created well b4 they won. They are smart, knew if they were 2 win there’d be scrutiny. Sounds like they were building their case b4 they even won. I can’t say for certain what happened, but I know greed causes people to act in an ugly manner and these 2 are certainly guilty of greed.

The original post should’ve been deleted immediately as free advertising spam. It still should be. The points brought up are a joke and don’t even come close to clearing anything or anybody. Very simply I believe the OP jumped on a hot topic to advertise his site.

Privacy violation laws broken? Did we read the same OP, because I am not sure we did.

Your second part is accurate, we don’t know what happens after they download the lineups, however that same thing can be stated about not related players who compare lineups with each other and discuss things.

I am all for people getting what they deserve if they have actually cheated the system, but come on

At this point, might as well make it so nobody can share any of their lineups prior to lock times

A casino does not need evidence. They can ask you to leave at any time.

    DK could do the same.

I doubt they actually flagged the lineups prior to all the emails they got and forum posts here.

They were in my $1 DU on DK in MLB every day this year. That is 1 reason I quit playing on DK even though I did OK

Martin would have had to given FC consent to inform Corey and rg if he was a customer or else FC has exposed themslef to a legal liability if Martin wanted to go after them regardless if the information that he was a customer was factual or not.

Yes and no. The Rashad Jennings information came out Sunday morning and was a surprise to everyone. So while Vereen I am sure ended up in a lot of lineups, he still wasn’t as heavily owned as he should of been (I have no clue what his final ownership was).

From that perspective, even if he is 40% owned, and you feel he is a lock to make value with upside, your 100% ownership gives you an advantage on 60% of the field. You can still differentiate your lineup at any of the other 8 positions.

My opinion is yes. My opinion is they are saying that to save face when they were asked for a comment by the WSJ. Could I be wrong? Sure. It’s my opinion. Just like ALL the accusations your make are your opinion. At times I’ve agreed with you. At times I have not.

100% or did you say hmm he’s gonna be chalk maybe I will take one of my 300 lineups and play sproiles at the same price.

So now its a question of plays as well, because somebody went 100% exposure to a player doesn’t mean something was going on, means they felt that player was a must play. You don’t have to agree with it, but my lord that far from shows any kind of cheating. The player still has to perform. So if they had gone 100% on somebody who flamed out, would you be arguing that it was a sign of cheating?

Maybe these two did find a way to cheat or maybe they didn’t. The problem at this point is people have already made up their mind and if evidence comes out to show that they weren’t they label it as a lie and go on believe their own decision. At this point, people might as well stop posting about it and just let what comes, come.

Im pretty sure no privacy laws were broken.

While we do not know what they did with the files they downloaded, we do know the files they downloaded were 150 players. Im not sure how that helps them collude.

  • Mphst18

So didnhey download the 100 percent exposure on vereen prior to the news or after it, I assume FC has the time logs.
