What numbers do you guys think are going to be the highest owned? I’m going to be fading 3 and 7, I think a lot of people will be playing them this week.

Wow! I have a buddy who is friends with 4 ball’s trainer. Just told me she is not feeling well. Take that for what it is worth. Also heard they will be having bobblehead night for 19. Narrative Street?

You know he has max entries with a core of 3 balls. Wait… there is no max limit on entries?

22 is the chalky play. It’s likely to hit $700M times it’s value

Lets hope no one wins this weekend. We really need to see a BillionaireMaker to put DFS in the proper context.

Stop whining. No one is forcing you to play. According to some, you only need 1 ticket. Buying 500 different tickets does not increase your chance of winning the jackpot over those who play only one ticket. Fools.

BTW- Rumor has it Ethan already leaked the winning numbers to Max, and he is a lock to win it.

The Powerball lottery officials haven’t listened to anybody. I’m not playing, I don’t have a chance in hell beating anyone that does the quick pick mass multi-entries. Everyone should have to pick their number, it takes away the skill and gives the advantage to the people who are using the computer script picks.

Keep laughing – algorithms and multi entries (buying LOTS of tickets) get you every time!

“She was called the luckiest woman in the world.

But now that luck is being called into question by some who think that winning the lottery four times is more than just a coincidental spell of good fortune.

Joan R. Ginther, 63, from Texas, won multiple million dollar payouts each time.

First, she won $5.4 million, then a decade later, she won $2million, then two years later $3million and in the summer of 2010, she hit a $10million jackpot.

The odds of this has been calculated at one in eighteen septillion and luck like this could only come once every quadrillion years.

Harper’s reporter Nathanial Rich recently wrote an article about Ms Ginther, which calls the the validity of her ‘luck’ into question.

First, he points out, Ms Ginther is a former math professor with a PhD from Stanford University specialising in statistics.

Although Ms Ginther now lives in Las Vegas, she won all four of her lotteries in Texas.

Three of her wins, all in two-year intervals, were by scratch-off tickets bought at the same mini mart in the town of Bishop.

Mr Rich details the myriad ways in which Ms Ginther could have gamed the system – including the fact that she may have figured out the algorithm that determines where a winner is placed in each run of scratch-off tickets.

He believes that after Ms Ginther figured out the algorithm, it wouldn’t be difficult to determine where the tickets would be shipped, as the shipping schedule is apparently fixed, and there were a few sources she could have found it out from.

The Texas Lottery Commission told Mr Rich that Ms Ginther must have been ‘born under a lucky star’, and that they don’t suspect foul play.”

Ethan works at the 7/11 by my house. I stopped in the other day and he told me a bunch of low owned numbers that no one has been buying. That makes them winners, right?

  • sheckiec

Crap. I had a great lineup going with my early numbers but one of my later numbers shat the bed with a DNP-CD.

  • MrWorldwide

Fade 7, it was 63% owned in the Thur. drawing.

stop positng your lineups, no one cares… better to ask a direct question, like

for the Powerball, should I go with 13 or 25? people are always down on 13, but it is due.

Question for the pros re: multi-entry:

Should I stick to a “core” set of numbers, swapping in alternate numbers at each position, i.e., Maxdalury/McJester style? Or, do you prefer the scatter-shot approach for these types of top-heavy payout structures?

  • stoptheinsanity

I’ve decide I am just going to buy all 175,223,510 different combinations of numbers. I know I might have to split the pot and end up taking a loss, but it is a risk I am willing to take.

Please, do not submit full lineups.

We actually do not allow full lineups on the forum. At Rotogrinders, we encourage everyone to fill out their own lineup, and offer help in doing so, however we avoid giving away full lineups, thus discourage the use of them on the forum.

If you want to ask who is a better play 3, 4 or 6, that is fine.

Thanks for understanding and good luck.
