grossest part is they are going to fill

  • MrFantasy

    So gross.

How much overlay do they typically incur with those since they are guaranteed?

  • sports_nerd

A few times a week there is significant overlay in satellites there. But that is an extreme rake. I’m curious how you display rake on the site? My best guess would be a separate program.

I like overlay and usually suck up most I see on the nights I play, for the most part only the extremely top heavy Qs that reward one silver slugger ticket for 3$ get some overlay, but id say most of the satellites consistently meet the guarantee or fill.

Browser plug-in, which calculates the info from/in the browser.

its also opened sourced available for every single player that wants the info on there screen, the exact opposite of a script that only a few players have acess to quickly enter / edit lineups

No it doesn’t have consent. In my opinion it’s not automating the service as their language looks to prohibit. I also have not received any communication from either site and I think that is because it fills a need they would prefer not highlight.

That being said Leafs’ rake shaming always makes my day.

this assumes i dont have code somewhere on github with a mit or WTFPL or whatever license you want on it that does what “few players have access to”. im just pointing out that ppl are quick to point out advantages they don’t have but dismiss ones they do.

i feel like you were trying to disagree with me but in actuality agreed. you just explained a way to scrape.

Is being a smart shopper and knowing where your moneys going when the rake literately changes by the day really a advantage, or should the sites be more transparent with all costumers not just the ones that choose to shop smarter.

im not arguing against the tool buddy. im pointing out that scraping requires consent. thats all. but you’re making my point.

thats not different than me saying the sites should have a tool for mass lineup entry, and everyone should have it, not just those that are smarter.

yeah I am also in the boat a means of quicker entry via CSV should be available to all users that want / need it but can see why the sites dont want it to be included on there main interface

(obvious turnoff to a small time player making them think there one lineup is futile / displaying how ridiculous the rake structure of charging the general population 10-13% and passing those savings onto your highest volume players with 6% rake offerings so in the end FD can claim a general 10% rake when unless your playing the nose bleed stakes, small sized 50/50 / h2h its generally more)

i guess i should add this tool onto my existing request for scripting permission if it is indeed against the rules but wont stop using it.

whats the difference besides this is supported by rotogrinders. I would assume RG has the consent.

  • leafs93

one of these things is not like the other
