Does JT become an easy fade this week in France? Tweeted out that he’s been sick all week.

Taking off to get ready for your Pat Mayo debut, nice job and good luck!!

Thanks, lol. Just hoping I don’t sound like an idiot.

This is becoming harder than I thought to leave so much salary on the table and not pay up. Have 33 I like. Now to wait for tee times to see if some of the Thursday AM guys can take advantage of the rain if it comes to narrow it down a bit more.

I am giving it some thought. Are people really gonna play him? Ownership over 10?

his 2012 win here was web.com but a 5th last week and semi decent form recently. ownership will be a real mystery, but if i’m playing 20 i’ll probably throw him on 2-3. wish he was about 800 cheaper but maybe that will help ownership.

Just thinking out loud but could rain be a negative effect this week. Sure if you are hitting the fairway it should be good for you. But wouldn’t it be even more difficult for the fairways missed as I would rather hit out of dry rough vs wet rough. Thoughts?

Look at his form coming into this year vs coming into last year.

  • Frustrated

After a cursory glance at the field before the salaries came out I thought I’d have plenty of Molinari. 10,600? Nope, I guess not. Damn this field is weak. Marginal players getting priced like elite players.

Absolutely, wet rough especially wet long rough is no bueno !

  • Seems like a week to go back to the well on the chalk for the past couple weeks that have burned people. CT Pan was on everyone’s radar and burned everyone and I think he’s priced cheaper this week, same with Dahmen a few weeks back and Hadwin.

  • flip4flop

Having a hard time with Pan while he fits the course he really fit last week and blew it. With salary not an issue this week I find it hard to go back to him except maybe as a pivot in large GPPs

Going to this one Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to it as my first PGA event to attend in person.

Can’t wait to get started on lineups this week.

I will dump my H2H in the lobby sporadically throughout the week to give everyone a chance to take my money. Just put the first 5 up. Will probably do a bunch of $1 and the a handful of $2 and $5s.

Should be a great time. Hope you have a good sweat going both days. Already grabbed a H2H. Good luck

Sorry to SPAM the board, but it helps me quickly identify some players that I may not otherwise…

EDIT: Hopefully nobody gets too upset that it’s EURO-related

I can’t get Yahoo straight yet! I’m not falling for the “traps” this week though. Too much Pan, Furyk, and Webb. If not for overlay I would be getting skunked there.

Glad to know I’m not the only one. Hopefully we can each figure it out sooner than later.
I’ve spent more than I’d have liked each week because of the overlay and I’ve probably lost about 80% of my entry fees there so far.
My initial look over there doesn’t have me feeling like this week will be much different because I see some obvious plays and those are exactly the kind of plays that have sunk me over there each week. I guess the big difference this week is that I will scale back my entries (which probably ensures I will figure it out this week and wish I played more lol)

I follow Poulter on twitter. He is also taking off next week before playing 5 straight weeks. Vacation mode?

Not sure how much this would impact your decision but he has been working on putting a new Titleist driver in his bag with a pic of the results on the tracker.

Been working to put the new @Titleist TS3 driver in the bag. The facts of testing are more speed, higher launch and less spin. Which means more carry distance with a good landing angle and still rolling out. Not bad for a 42 year old with spaghetti arms. 😉

  • TrustinthePlan

Wonder if there are any stats out there on how good certain players play in high 90s and humid as F heat where the realfeel temps will be close to 110 because thats what its going to be on Saturday and Sunday.

Normally this would be enough for me to take a pass, however Ian is still looking to be on the Ryder Cup team and getting points at the French Open would certainly help him a lot. Still, it does sound like he’s more about fine-tuning this week than lapping the field.

Going outside the box with a stat I have not used before which is average birdies per round on bent grass greens for DK. These 2 that I am rostering have me concerned. Using only the last 2 years’ of results. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Denny McCarthy ($7200) has made 3 of 4 cuts that have bent grass greens this year while averaging 3.71 birdies/round. 90th Drivingng accuracy, 84th in GIR and 18th SG putting.

Ryan Blaum ($7600) has 10/13 cuts made with bent grass greens, 2/4 this year with top 20’s on both and 3.69 birdies/rd avg. 40th in Driving accuracy, 118th in GIR, 140th in SG putting. But…..T12 last week, T18 at FedEx. MC at Ft. Worth and T6 at AT&T.

Yeah I’m scraping by on Yahoo now with limited funds and I obviously haven’t done well enough to justify a redeposit yet. This week I’m going the opposite route I think (playing the “overpriced” guys like Bubba at 45 lat week (top salary with a few others last week there)). Maybe that will work since Yahoo knows something we don’t.

Hopefully I’m not diving too deep again for that min priced gem, which will be difficult. I’m not sure who’s been winning there lol I’m not even sure who I like this week. Si Woo is on my list though.

Not sure how I feel about him yet but when I have included him as one of my last options the results have usually been positive.
