5 of my current 6 golfers on my team haven’t been mentioned yet in this thread. Looks like I’m gonna win all the monies.

    Just saw this tweet….

    Last year at Quicken Loans:

J.B. Holmes missed 8 putts inside of 5 feet.

Kyle Stanley was 59 of 59. Rickie Fowler was 51 of 51.

weather report – Wed now upgraded to “sprinkles” no steady rain, looking as if not a factor.

The heat is still on for the weekend, bumped up 2 more degrees, heat indexes in the upper 90’s

Usually I enjoy listening/watching pre tourney show s that discuss the field etc. this week I have been annoyed by them for two reasons…

Common theme, expect a high 6/6 this week due to small field, yes this is typically true but they all mention how difficult the course and then get stuck on the weak field assuming all the “studs” who will be chalk make the cut. Ly the 6/6 was 6%, do your homework and focus more on the tough course vs weak field.

I am at a loss for words as I continually heard how overpriced Tiger, Stanley, JB, Molinari and Hossler are BUT Niemann is a good play at 9k…really, you don’t think he is overpriced slightly more than the above mentioned players as he has never made a cut on a tough course….

Adam Hadwin? Underpriced? Shows 16/17 cuts made but lackluster recent form. At 7300 I have to have some. That exactly describes Brandon Steele last week.

Nieman ends up at #2 in my rankings this week being top 10 in many categories including 2nd in SG:APP over the last 24 rounds. However, the proximity of 175-200 is where he is the worst on approaches which is where most of the approach shots seem to come from. This is the red flag for me as if he is missing from that distance he will need alot of help to get out of that rough thats right off the green. I was really high on him Monday but may fade him completely at this point and just stick to Molinari or dare I say Kevin Na

  • MrBreeze

I just deleted Molinari from my build, his putting stats are horrendous. Anyone else see this?

I don’t listen to much of that at all but preach my man! I know first hand at least a few studs MC every week because I own them all lol It’s a weak field but there are some guys waiting for this moment and wouldn’t be surprised to see a “shocking” T10. I also saw Niemann priced there and was confused as well. I remember when we were first talking about him, probably before the Masters. Back then his “value” was in the 7Ks I believe. He is an up-and-comer but has to earn a little more still.

Hopefully stuff like this helps us win all the monies!

Watch Rickie miss the cut this week. Just watch.

Feels like a week where the bold will fade the Tiger and Rickie and reap the rewards.

You know what is tough this week? EURO.

Was way too easy IMO… which means yes, its tough!

  • lfn1992

A few EURO notes. The contests this week are filling up fast, so if you want it I’d get going. Normally I wait to put mine in but I hustled and got them in quickly.

The $1 EURO Happy Meal is at 37/50 and I think we can fill it. Give it a shot!

Also, I may as well share some exciting news. I am going to be in the UK the same week as the Scottish Open and I am pretty close to going there with the family and watching some of it live. I think the schedule will work out. Fingers crossed.

Tiger switch up the putter to a mallet?

He’s clearly underpriced but ownership will make him a fade. I’m not remotely concerned that he’s going to win.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that Kyle Stanley won here last year averaging 30 putts a round, so molinari might not be a bad play after all, I think on a good week he can get near that figure lol!

  • flip4flop

Ended up liked a few cheap guys not mentioned here which obviously means im going broke this week. Trying to figure out who I want up top. Seem to be going heavy Stanely at this point with Molinari a close second.

Have 3 golfers under 7200 and one of them is under 6600 @35% owned, have to hit your flyers to go deep, good luck

Yeah I have 5 guys under 7200 and heavy as hell on 2 of them. Going to be an interesting week for sure.

Awesome, man! I hope that works out!

  • TheRyanFlaherty

Niemann is one of this weeks underpriced Yahoo golfers that starts to find their way in every lineup, because why would you not…
So that pretty much guarantees a missed cut lol

According to this article yes. They mentioned it right before a commercial on Golf Central last night that he was using a new Taylor Made putter but I didn’t watch the segment.

I am not confident in any lineup i have made this week, therefore I will not be entering into it, so you will have to win the winner take all this week!

I wanted to see DK go bigger with the prize pools this week. The field is obviously classier. But if you’re playing a gpp I don’t see the incentive when you could use that $5 on the Pga event. Frustrating
