I wonder what kuchar’s price/ownership will be…thinking about fading after this weekend

  • LionIrons

Kuch will be an interesting choice this week. I think there’s a fire lit under him now. He looked pretty pissed watching Jordan give the Champions’ speech. I think he really wants a win ASAP. Also, this is an RBC event and he usually does well in those. But I can totally understand the post-Open fade. Probably comes down to his price.

With 4 straight top 10’s here and recent form, Kuchar should be one of the highest priced players. However, it depends on which kool-aid DK is drinking today.

I think you need to have at least one of DJ or Kuch in your lineup right? Fading both might just be a death sentence

  • DirtysBurgers

Alright – I will be the one this week…. Anyone have the link for the spreadsheet?

It might be, or it might give you a leg up on 40%+ of the field if they don’t top 10

I’d bet closer to 50%+ of the field with DJ and Kuch…aside from those two; CHoff, Finau, Lee, and maybe Murray (coming off Barbosal win) I’d assume would be near the top, but my point is there are very few brand names in the field and not many places to spend your roster budget

*Unless of course DK decides to mindfck us all again and mess with common sense pricing – high probability of this occurrence

Is Adam Hadwin in this golfing event?

If so, it feels like a Blount week.

Oh definitely I get what you’re saying and fading then expecting DJ and Kuch to not top 10 is very risky so may have to have at least 1

This is fairly inaccurate as there are many more players that round out the field. Cantlay, Bradley, Chappell, Cink, DeLaet, Hadwin, Hahn, Hearn, Holmes, Kang, Lingmerth, Lowry, Martin, McDowell, McGirt, Poulter, Reavie, Schneiderjans, Snedeker (injured), Summerhays, Taylor, Swafford, Tway, Woodland are all quality golfers than you can round your lineups out with.

Players to consider – yes – but my point is that if not correctly priced, you will see DJ and Kuchar in close to 40-50% of lineups…this week needs to be like a few weeks back when Fowler was priced much much higher in the tourney where he was one of the only ‘big names’

  • darickc

Anybody else ever place really well in free tournaments that don’t have a big payout? I finished 13th in the free tourney for the Open Championship out of 49.4K entries. My freaking luck. Won $5 bucks. SMDH. On to the RBC Canadian with my $5 bucks!

  • Jamcclea

Fuck Jon Rahm for missing that eagle putt on 18 last year. Could have won thousands more if he won the 2016 tourney.

  • lfn1992

David Hearn for all the marbles

  • Jeddy3

Is there a reason why Patrick Cantlay hasn’t played in over a month?

  • Jeddy3

Also, this is the week that Kevin Tway takes me to the promised land.

I really hope Tway isn’t too popular but have a feeling he will be

I thought he looked in total stunned, shock. His stare was vacant, like he was off in another place, which I can’t blame him for. I like Kooch, had him in most of my lus. But not sure about playing him this week, even with his past RBC history. I think Sunday was a big emotional ordeal for him and not sure where his head will be this week.

I see it too. Thought it was my computer or connection, but after several refreshes, it’s still there.

A good fade opportunity for those that watched considering his event history and recent form. The research will be screaming, play me!

He stated before his return that he was going to ease himself back into a full schedule. Since he locked up his tour card for next year in his first handful of starts, I am guessing he decided just to take an extended break with the Fedex Cup playoffs looming which could be 4 straight weeks of playing? There might be a break in there somewhere, but I don’t remember.
