Brutal week to fade random non-elite chalk guys:

    (all 10% owned or more)

Cantlay +1.8 SGP, 96th Tee-to-Green, makes cut by 1 shot

    Campbell +2.6 SGP

    Reavie +3.7 SGP

    Poulter +3.5 SGP

Danny Lee +3.2 SGP, makes cut by 1 shot

    Summerhays +1 SGP

Basically all these guys except Poulter were a fairly high cut risk for their ownership (even Cantlay w/ 7 week layoff) and all of them could have missed the cut with 2 bad putting rounds (even Campbell misses the cut at -3.4 over 2 rounds).

Well Cantlay is an above average putter. I do agree +1.8 SGP is higher than normal for him (and probably for anyone), but he’s not a 0 SGP putter on average. Cantlay’s ST actually isn’t very promising; he was hitting it pretty far away from the pin even though he’s supposed to be a good ball striker too, so I agree he got a bit lucky. Danny Lee did have a very good 2 days of putting, but keep in mind he made two horrible shots that cost him like more than 1 SG for each bad shot on approach, which normally is a ton. So if he made bogey-double instead of double-triple, he would have made the cut by 3 shots instead of by 1, making the putting moot.

People actually thought -3’s would make the cut?

If I could hit the ball to within 5ft from 190 yards I would 100% be a tour pro and whip these guys asses on a regular basis. Half the players on tour could be out putted by a little kid at a putt putt course.

Vegas is the opposite of that, gains strokes tee to green then gives them all back with the putter, refer to my last comment.

All I need is a Langasque eagle and a Bradley Dredge birdie here, in the EURO, make it so

Really need Dredge to make the cut. Thankfully he has 3 par 5s coming in his last 4 holes.. (what a shit ass course design)…. woot got one bird….

is the cut gonna be -4?

  • superstars92

Cink having trouble putting or the cut would move to -4 sooner.

    EDIT: nice reverse jinx.

    Eventually yea.

  • Jacobkaiser1325

Woodland might have the worst short game on tour, he might actually be worse at chipping than DeLaet

  • hbomb57

Gay is my only choice to make the cut and he is plus 2 after 5. 3 LU’s 3 5/6 no payday. On to Nascar at least the sweat lasts longer.

Hard to chip when you are built like an NFL linebacker.

Speaking of Woodland, we probably have the three best athletes in golf all playing in this tournament: DJ, Finau, and Woodland.

DJ, Finau, and Woodland probably can make up a really good 3 v 3 basketball team. Like really good, could challenge some random, lower level college basketball players.

    Cink at -4

jeez Hagy had 164 yards left on his 2nd on the par 5. that’s insane.

  • silentanddeadly

did Kuch just save again from 30 feet or was it an ST troll?

He is a big dude, and you know Finau has that basketball skill in his blood, correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t he Kobes cousin or something like that?

If we are making a football team from this event, don’t forgot Vegas! Dude is built like a tank!

  • kswetnam1342

Only have 2 lineups with Kuchar, but they includes some MC’s, so I am good with his struggles :)
