Went 13-4 in our forum H2H’s – thanks for the fun guys !

Lost to matoshea, td33dzul just before the 18th hole by about 10 points then lost to bgraffunder and kswetnam on Hoffman’s bird/bonus on 18. All were close losses that Woodland could have helped me turn them into wins !

Edit – overall I was 28-9 in H2H so 15-5 against non RG Forum guys so basically the same performance inside and outside the forum.

Won’t let me load the link cause im on the UK site..

    What went down?

  • BIF

Good week, about a +20% return overall but no big cashes in GPP beyond $80 as Cantlay and Ollie had bad weekends and went backwards.

H2H’s were good (28-9 overall) with my main lineup hitting for 563.5 and secondary lineup getting 550

Won 8 Milly Maker tickets for PGA Championship- shoulda been 12 but the two Eagles by Finau and Garrigus combined wirh Woodland gaffing his close one left me just short on those.

Not playing much next week beside a single bullet and some more Milly sats as I hate small field no cut events – ownership levels are going to be way too high as well.

Sounds like the forum will be dead next week. Seems were all in the same boat as far as no cut events.

Ill still be throwing some lineups in the lower dollar gpps but probably about 10% of what I usually play.

Yah especially with a Major the following week

I may chase some overlay Thursday morning as some GPPs are big but tee times start late in this event as small field

  • jokah03

Rough week for me which had a lot of promise on Friday. One 6/6, two 5/6 and an 8/8 on FD and cashed 0 DK lineups and mincashed one FD lineup. Best lineup was on fantasydraft where I was winning yesterday..ended up with a few high spots but not that much money.

Single entry next week it sounds like.

  • karonica

all in all was happy 6/6 dk 8/8 fanduel 38% profit 822 in fd 600 in dk will take that for a rookie had to make up for the open took a bath only bet 5% of bankroll every week so i can keep playing
on to next week start research now
hope you all had green screens will no longer do dk weekend golf just stick with a couple gpp’s

Went 14/14 this week! Awesome week. Biggest disappointment was my 618 5/6 :( My cash LU was at 625 tho. Super happy with the results! Not looking forward to next week… Still want to play though!

Just looked at the dogleg. Gosixers go is a poster here. He won 1st and 2nd and like 4 other spots in the top 10.

Don’t know what other contests he was in but he must have cleared at least $300,000

Finally won my first tournament! Made $800 but it would have been a really big day had Chad and Ollie not pooped the bed. I’ll take it but it’s tough, as I was up $2000 when the day started.

He was in for $6150 in entries and cashed $225K; I saw it on Twitter, someone retweeted his screen shot. Looks like he only max entered (150x) in the $33 and the $8.

    That’s a good 4 days work.

Gosixersgo just crushes every week I dunno how he does it.

Out of his top players and my top players, I have a very similar player pool (aside from Holmes), except the issue is I didn’t have the right combination of players or at the same % among my top owned guys (my top owned guys list is almost the exact same – but for example I have Finau at a lower %). That’s the difference between crushing the top of the GPPs (him) and getting way more than the amount of 6/6s in the Dogleg and being down for the week (me).

Yea I also had like 33% 6/6s too in the Dogleg. I think people can confirm this with TFF. Difference was my 6/6s didn’t have the right combo and his did, so I’m slightly down and he’s crushing all the GPPs. It was a very fine line between losing and winning big this week. I’m actually down with the overexposure to 6/6s and with my cash game team being 6/6. Pretty incredible if you told me at the beginning of the week, but I can completely understand why when I look through my lineup and see too much Cantlay.

Btw, just in case anyone thought so, I am not complaining or anything. Just stating something I find to be interesting about this week. A lot of times, you can have the right player pool, but you need the right combination of those players to win, and he obviously had a few really incredible combinations. Also, a big difference was he had some Vegas (although at low %). I bet MOST, if not ALL, of his top GPP teams had Vegas, despite not having much Vegas overall.

  • lfn1992

What I find fascinating is that he went 75% on one guy and 50% on another, then basically went with stabs on what he may have thought overall ownership was.

I basically went 50% Ollie and 50% Chez, which was OK since they both made the cut, but I faded Woodland, Finau and JB entirely. That was enough to win $0.

Starting to wonder if I am going too overweight with my middle guys. He went no higher than 36% on his entire middle, and probably a lot of those guys were defensive positions.

The key for him was his 12.67% Vegas. If he had 0% Vegas, he would be barely up this week (replace the 12.67% Vegas with Summerhays, for example at the same 7k price). Instead, with 12.67% Vegas, he’s getting the top of every GPP with multiple entries. Otherwise, he would be like min-secondary cashing a ton of 6/6s and maybe only getting like 1 or 2 near the top of the GPP (but no GPP win or like 5-10 at top of GPPs).
