Ok I went back through and actually looked at a few stats for this week, only one lineup for me this week but if I was playing more than one I think it would be a Finau/Nick Taylor/Power core for all the monies with 4400 left on the table. Faded everyone above Finau

  • Jacobkaiser1325

My lineups are set, easiest week so far this season for setting lineups and who to play, which will defiantly back fire on me as I’m sure all my guys will miss the cut lol
My downfall will probably be the 6K guys I used in Hagy, Kokrak and Garrigus but I’m using DJ as a core play this week along with Finau, Cantlay, Holmes, Tway and Campbell (chalky, I know)

Who’s your guys’ favorite play at $6600 and under?

    BH3 or Gribble

Don’t kill me guys. Would Bubba be a good Gpp? He has made 3 straight cuts and killed the Jack Nicholas designed memorial tournament. What do u guys think?

I know there isn’t many Fantasy Draft users out there but for those who play, do you find it better to pick 7 guys who you feel decent about or pick the cheapest guy as your 7th and pick 6 you like? (you drop your worst)

I’ve tried it both ways. Go for the 7 you like and if all 7 make it, your weakest just doesn’t hurt you …….instead of purposely choosing the weakest.

I only considered one golfer down there. Garrigus…therefore, I will be playing 6700 and up :)

I will be playing Bubba for the first time in a long time.

I have a little of Brehm and Brown at that price. Not much, but a little when I had to go that low.

I’m using Bubba… two years ago he absolutely destroyed the Par 5s (-16 with 3 Eagles) and he’s still 6th SG:OtT. Plus honorary Canadian status (Canadian wife) and he is playing here by choice (not RBC guy). Throw in the fact that he needs FedEx cup points (but is not desperate) and his ownership will be under 15%…

Of course, he could play like Travelers (he MC with a 2nd round that was +5.6 SG: Tee To Green because of triple bogey round 1 and nearly -4 SGP) while Finau makes cut and has his usual high scoring 25th place.

Bubba will eventually turn it around…but he won’t be on my lineup when he does. And then I’ll have him when he goes back to his new normal.

Is anyone else considering Cameron Percy this week?

    -5 in 2016, -10 in 2015 and -4 in 2013. Now add the last 2 weeks’ performances.

The negative I see is 4th in GIR but 167th or worse in putts per round.

  • atjorace

Is the forum feeling that D. Lee will be performing up to a cash game standard this week. That extra $100 is hurting my line up building (would like to fit in Cantlay)

I have a little of Garrigus (hope he can add up the right score this week) and a touch of Rory……..Sabbatini…..other than that not touching anyone 6600 or lower

I’m torn between Garrigus and Cejka. Cejka’s form is decent and has a T5 here last year.

Agreed! The posting voluminous was hard to keep up with if you couldn’t be at your computer consistently! I skipped or skimmed a few dozen pages in the end.

I find CC, Holmes, and Lee to be such obvious plays this week I’m having a hard time keeping my exposure to each below 40%. They’re not locks, but I’m expecting good things.

I also really like Poulter and (for a lower priced player) Power.

LOL, I got it, I am waiting to see if anyone wins the PIG Prize again this week. That was my edge to giving away money every week, The sole owner of the highest salary to miss cut. I believe you were the 5th winner since the start, so donating $10 (8 if noone wins this week) to an idea isnt such a bad thing.

Edit- The Pig prize is $1.60 to the single person who rosters the highest salary golfer to miss the cut. paid via a $2 H2H at any contest of the winners choosing. Puddin won this last week and told me to throw it into this weeks prize pool. I am honest but cheap LOL, if noone wins it this week then it goes back into the kitty, or more importantly it stays in my bankroll. Yep that is why I came up with the sole ownership clause, and why its not to the winner of the contest. Cheap SOB but honest :)

I have 50 different lineups that have a DJ/Finau/Cantlay core. All 3 are pretty chalky but I can’t imagine people building that many variations on them.

I’m 100% DJ and 100% Finau across all lineups.

    Should be an interesting week….

definitely not the only one, I’ve got about 30%. Feels like a great fit as long as he shows up and isn’t too worn out as BIF has mentioned

Mullinax reminds me of Xander Schauffele… just hasn’t 100% broken through yet.
