Oh Luke Donald.. how I loathe thee. Just do something positive my man. I’m probably the only guy that has him here lol

  • timusbr

idk but Piercy seems to be the only one done who is MC and some ownership. You guys ready for 30% 6/6 and a huge MDF?

Seriously, someone should come up with a LU of “last guys out of RG grinders player pool” just for fun. Me, the last guy outside of my player pool? Ben Silverman, of course.

Maybe I’ll try this with one of my tickets for the US Open. I’ll have a few forum members PM their last guy cut from the pool and see how it turns out.

  • hautalak

Kuchar doing it up today as well. Let’s keep going!!!!

Now that the cut moved to -2 the 6/6 is only about 7% right now with big ownership like DJ/Rory/Furyk/Noren all sitting right near that cut line

  • hautalak

And Cauley with the ST bomb! Most likely 2 shots as it’s been taking forever for these to update. Kind of like “focusing” on one main lineup more with all these h2hs.

It’s really a joke how bad of a putter Niemann is. He should be tied for 2nd if he just had an AVERAGE putting round. Instead 1 birdie and -3. He’ll probably do the same this weekend. Missed so many 6 footers it’s a joke.

You guys are too concerned about making cuts. One guy in the top 5 + an MC is equal or better than 2 cut makers who make like 2 birdies a round.

Cut making only matters I think if you have guys near the top like Sneds on those teams.

I took Niemann because I know he has the potential to get a top 10 anytime he plays, but indeed those 2 birdie rounds are not ideal for DFS. At least he got an eagle on day 1 and almost a BOFR twice.

Having Snedeker and Stenson in my lineup, I am rooting hard for a 6/6 so that I have a little hope at least! I have a lineup tied for 4th in a double qualifier for the FGWC, and the guy I’m tied with and 2/3 people in front of me will be 5/6. I’m also in the $444 contest, where every hole matters. Moving up a couple of spots means thousands of dollars at that point!

Good luck. Oh yea if you got those top guys 6/6 is huge. I guess I was just trying to say rooting on for placement points can make up the sting of an MC. It’ll matter more at US open then here where there are more birdies here so having an extra guy is marginally more helpful.

Wise Watney Piercy Sergio potential for lots of MCs. Berger Noren DJ Furyk all also close.

Add Conners Harman Cauley etc to that list.

  • hautalak

Cauley you SOB! Make that 5 footer. Now I think you’re going home. Gotta be 0 to 100 when sweating a cut lol

  • NoLimits0

The bright side is Noren has a super super easy 5 hole stretch in which he should be able to go at least -1 in that stretch.

The bad news is he can’t putt and now he can’t hit the ball either today…funny cause on the Euro Tour he got all those wins for being an elite putter.

  • Brandon6385

Lashley you suck……….. Got a Sneds, Simpson, Stenson line up….

  • hautalak

And DJ too from under 10 feet? Maybe they need “mini” golf contests on the greens or something.

Thanks! I normally try to get as many guys who can shoot a -8 as possible in my lineups (especially Showdown) like Snedeker, Bradley (I wish I had him this week) or Schauffele (-11 once, which is crazy), but I fill them with steady cut makers.

He’s my sweat of the afternoon! All my other guys are safely in the cut line.

  • timusbr

like I said Piercy is the only one done who is a MC. all the others mentioned still playing and had OK to great starts. just saying…..

Sergio gonna come in at no percent next week playing like this. Watch him crush smh

  • jfro22

Sergio with 2 6 ft misses in a row. Well that sweat was fun while is lasted /s

  • someclevername

  • NoLimits0

No Sneds but if Webb and Stenson can go 1-2 that’ll be nice. Most of the 7-8k fillers with them are making the cut (Gay and Armour are the exceptions, Gay still with a shot) but like I said earlier most (only Gmac) are -2 and -3 (some like Noren still playing) so they gotta find some birdies.

I was just doing some CH analysis for next week and see that Sergio last played there in 2010 with a T22. I wonder why he never plays at Pebble Beach?

    Maybe he hates Pro-Ams?

Just watching that damned cut line go from -1 to -2

Whatever the cut line is at the end of the day, there’s no way Mike Weir makes it.
